Thanks for the info guys! I'm in the research stage of my journey to independence. Hopefully by January I'll be ready to make my independent debut. It's def waaaay more work and effort going this route. So many little things, as you all stated like getting my reviews linked, and getting approved for the verification sites, building a website, photos, ect. But in the long run I know it'll be more rewarding.

I'm not new to this escorting world, but I have only worked with an agency on and off. I'm looking to get back in the game, but seriously thinking of going indy. I am African American and sooooooo many of the good agencies, at least in Atlanta won't even think about hiring an AA escort, or hiring another AA escort these days. So that leaves me with trying to figure out if I should just give up or go indy. I honestly don't even know where to start with trying to manage myself. If any of you gals/guys have any helpful advice, pertaining to what I need to do to be a successful independent escort let me know.

Thanks,

so I would encourage you in this but also you should be aware of the numerous tasks that await you if you do such as setting up a website, placing ads, doing screening, aranging rooms, etc.

If you think you are up for that, give it a go.  I would also advise that you join up with an experienced provider who can mentor you, if you know of one that is willing.

Best wishes.

There are advantages to both situations.  An agency will handle all the screening etc, while as an indie, you will have to do that all by yourself.  A big downside of working for an agency is not getting to keep all the $ for yourself, but you will likely have less overhead than you will being independent.  Another downside is that agency goals often times have to entertain a lot of clients every day.  As an indie, you can decide on how many you want to see each day.

There are pros and cons to both, you will have to make that decision yourself.  I'm like mrfisher, I prefer to see indies also,as do many other guys.  If you want more input, feel free to PM me.

Due to convenience for me. Verification once opens up appointments with any provider that works for the agency that I am interested in. I get the same feel. Good agencies bring in fresh faces often.

If you go independent, you get to keep all of your money. But you have to schedule, verify, set up your incall. And if a client short you on money or is violent toward you, you have no recourse for making that person pay. If you have high looks, the turnover for you in an agency will be large enough that at the end of each working day, you will make more working with the agency than working for yourself.
