Hey Im Blaque! Just getting acquainted with this message board.I just had a quick inquiry...why does it take so long for TER to post a hobbyist review of a provider?

Seems no one is able to answer that question. Why? Because it varies. Sometimes reviews are approved and posted in less that 8 hours ( my first one was) then sometimes it takes more than a week. The stories of how long it takes basically fall within those parameters.
I have been told that the first review of a TER member may be held up until he establishes a presence or submits another review. (Note: My first review was approved and posted in less than 8 hours. I was fortunate.) I have also been told that a providers first review could be held up until another for her by another reviewer is submitted. The double whammy is if the review is the first for the reviewer and the provider.
Be patient it will be approved and posted eventually.
The reviewer should keep checking by clicking on "My Reviews" and look to the right and see the status of the review. If it still says "new" then it's still on hold. If it says "approved" then it's been posted. If it's been rejected there is info there to say why. You can contact TER through "contact us" and ask for explanation.

Hang in there. Remember patience is a virtue.

new to TER.  The more history the provider and reviewer have the sooner the review may be approved.  Also, consider the time of the week the review is submitted; reviews submitted weekends take a little longer.

TER takes reasonable precautions to prevent fraudulent reviews; meaning from friends, self, etc.
