END OF MESSAGE

Someone say, hello to me. I'm not sure my posts are posting because I'm new and learning this site by trial and error. Say, hello. Come on now...Don't feel shy:)

Sometimes posts take a while to actually show up.

...before they are allowed to seen. Your posts are moderated. All new TER members go through this. Sometimes your posts will show up quickly sometimes it takes a while. Keep posting. Establish a history of participating and following the board posting rules. After a month or so us the Contact Us link at the bottom of any page and request to be unmoderated. You can look for their response under the My Feedback tab at the top of the My TER page. (My TER tab is at the top of every page.)

Check the link I've included below.

Wow! Thanks so much. This really helped. Appreciate the feedback. Have a great day!

the thread I started  on another board hasn't posted in 10 minutes. Then all of a sudden I see all my posts "post" . Maybe their software only update the site every 10 minutes or so

When you are moderated a "real person" needs to read your post, make sure it conforms to the rules and then approve your post at which point it goes "live" for all to see. Until then it remains in the "moderation queue" where only the mods can see it.

The reason sometimes posts stay in the queue for varying amounts of time is simple. Mods are humans (most of them at least) and they don't stay glued to the screen 24/7. Sometimes posts stay in the queue for hours, but most of the time the mods get them approved in pretty short order.

When you are unmoderated your posts will go up in real time IOW the very instant you press "post message"

One last thing, there is such a thing called "random moderation" where even unmoderated members have random posts selected to be approved before going live. It's a bit annoying to most vets who've been here a while, but it doesn't happen often enough to disrupt most conversations.

So, even though I've received my "unmoderated" message back in April, if, after I post, I do a refresh and my message does not show up then I AM being moderated

If it only happens occasionally, you can chalk it up to "random moderation" if it happens on every post, then yes you are moderated. I would suggest you contact admin to verify your status.

Thanks everyone I have the jest of it. I think, LOL!!!

I appreciate the feedback.

Xoxo
