Texting/Messaging Ettiquette

Just curious to get some thoughts and opinions when it comes to texting or messaging a provider.  Is it okay to have some occasional casual conversation?  I exchanged a few messages with a provider while we were trying to sort out an appointment.  Unfortunately, things didn't work out and I was unable to see her.

Is it considered appropriate to send messages that aren't for the pure sake of booking an appointment?  Because I decided to message her today.  I thanked her for a photo that she had  posted up recently, mentioned my further excitement after reading through her reviews (upgraded to VIP yesterday), and asked her if she had plans to return anytime soon.  Sound okay to yall?  I believe I was both polite and respectful in my compliments on the photo she posted, as well as the rest of the message.

I just get a bit worried sometimes that I bother people.  I have a very good friend that I love talking with, but sometimes I think she gets a bit tired of listening to me. :)  I thought maybe sending a message once in a while might be alright.  Anywho, I'm off to look for some other girls in the area and watch a bit of tennis. :)

Thanks for reading and responding :)

This is the main reason why so many of us do not list a number on the internet. If you were a married man, would you appreciate a text out of the blue? Well, neither do we unless specified otherwise. There is simply no reason to be carrying on a damn chat if you have not booked an appt. This is not match.com.

For the kind of correspondence you are suggesting, email is always better. You simply do not know where a provider's phone will be, and if it is visible to HER family, so I would not suggest this unless that provider has told you it was ok.

I cannot stand to get unsolicited messages via text from clients...it is very invasive on my private affairs. PM or Email...no problem.

Oh, perhaps I was a bit unclear miss London.  Sorry.  We exchanged a few texts last week about a possible appointment, but since then we have not spoken.  I upgraded to VIP the other day and maybe an hour ago sent her a message through PM.

I will heed your advice and keep conversation confined to private message or email.   I 100% understand the point you're making, and I would not want to infringe on anyone's privacy.
