As a doc, test results are really only good for the day they are taken. Not including false positive and negatives. Thus, you, they don't know what was contracted post test date. So it can be a false sense of security for everyone.
Ok we all want to be safe. Getting tested is a no brainer for most of us. I hope. I have never been asked if I get tested. It bathers me. I can see how this should not be mentioned prior to meeting. I just wish my provider have peace of mind when meeting me. Would providing them with documentation showing who I am, and when I was tested be a nice thing for them? Maybe put it in the envelope? I can see how this is not an option for married men. It is an option for me. Please keep in mind. I am not looking for BBFS. Just a happy provider.
Be aware that many girls will think you ARE looking for bareback service if you start talking about your test results.
The reality is that providers practice safe sex and worry about keeping their own house in order since they can't count on their clients doing the same. You've never been asked because any provider with half a brain knows that the answer will always be "yes" and it will be a lie most of the time.
