TER does nothing with inactive handles, they remain stagnant.

Trying using your password with no caps. Using caps will not get you logged on.

You might have forgotten your password. If you still have access to the email account associated with your handle at that time, enter your handle at the log on page and click the forgot password link. Access your email account associated with your old handle and you should receive a link to reset your password. Remember to also check your spam folder.

Several years ago I posted and reviewed on TER as "ropegun."
For my own reasons, I quit hobbying for a while.... maybe more on that later.
But for now, when I tried to log on I found I wasn't even a member anymore. Did TER purge the dead and inactive? OK, I can understand the deceased, but the distracted and disenchanted, too?
I want my old handle back; I had about a dozen reviews under it. It was comfy as my old Gucci loafers-- I wann'a be ropegun again.
How can I do dat?

Your reviews are still there.  If you've got your original email account maybe an email to [email protected] from that account might get you somewhere.

and if so, what happened?

Maybe TER takes the handle back when no one uses it and gives it to another; or it may be permanently retired, but perhaps they could reactivate it for you.

Go write to TER and see what they say.

I'd be curious to know how they handle this.

Your reviews are still there under that handle.  Have you tried contacting staff?
