I finally signed up with Switter last week, but even with your search tips, there just aren't many providers on Switter in my area. 15 ads from the last seven days, for a metro area of 3.5 million people. Some were traveling providers who weren't even in town yet, so my choices for today on Switter are very limited. Some were respectable local providers, but most looked more like BP level of quality, and none of the top local providers were running ads on Switter.
In my limited and growing knowledge of Switter - I have noticed that most ladies post by their city (#mycity). But I have realized that a lady can also post to the "listings" page by including the hashtag #swlisting to their toot. Now the the toot is included when someone searches thru swlistings (listings.switter.at).
For the hobbyists - if you hit the link "Want listings? Go to listings.switter.at" in the upper left hand corner - all of the listings (ads) pop up. From there, search by the city you prefer - and the list is reduced to just the listings (ads) for your city. I have found this process the easiest to view current listings (ads).
If I have missed something - kindly clarify. As I said, I am like everyone else simply trying to sort thru it all.

Most girls are linked to other girls and I sort through these.
Have done a few "searches" and the results have been mixed. Have found a few women I really like, but our locations don't match.
I plan to connect with others I know, and that list will grow by referral more than search...I believe.
I download this ap called "amaraq" on iPhone.
then you put the user name "@[email protected]"
then next screen is email & password.
this is soooooo much easier than log in on desktop.
At first I thought it was super difficult (desktop) but this app makes it sooooooo much easier!!!!!!!!

I don't use my iPhone for hobbying, because my employer pays the bill. I tried googling for "amaraq" on my home desktop computer, but Google doesn't give me any relevant links.
Amaraq is Apple specific. The Mastalab app works well for Android.
Checked it out but I have to say I was not impressed with the quality of ladies on there. Or maybe I do not know how to use it.

Switter is great if traveling or focussed on a particular area...but many of us have been on twitter for YEARS... use the #dateyourcity for example #datedenver or #dateboston many of us savvy will include in our ads...and are all helping ladies we know are legit by retweeting them etc. it's almost a better way of getting a little community and research..
the world is progressing...get on it or the pickings will be slim! plus many of us have put some significant work into SEO etc... and revamping websites etc...
Yes, searching the listings is the best way to find providers in your area. Obviously, Twitter has been around much longer and therefore has more providers. But, Switter is catching on more every day. If your area doesn’t return many results on a Switter, check Twitter. As for Mastodon apps, avoid Tootdon like the plague. It’s a security nightmare because it archives copies of all your toots on their servers. I use Amaroq for iPhone to access Switter & love it. Hope to see you all over there!
