This is probably a dumb newbie question, but is there any way to ask a provider about her exposure to STD's, how often she is tested, when was the last time she was tested, what were the results, etc.?

I think escorts generally do get tested - unlike civvie girls who don't feel any need to test.

However, if she has a positive result on anything she's not going to admit that to you and it's her personal health matter and of no concern to you (I'm working on the assumption here somebody would continue working if they had an infection).

I just don't think it's a question you should ask - though she should of course be healthy if she's seeing clients.

This goes for clients also. You should always ask especially if your are going to do uncovered daty or recieve a BBBJ. Also ask to see if she went to a public clinic to get the tests. Down in Atlanta they don't test for herpes at the public clinics.

Providers and clients should spend the $300-$1000 every 3 months to get a full STD checkup with a STD doctor. A provider who is careful will get a STD checkup every month, the ones who do BBBJ, CIM, and CIM will swallow.

You should have your results ready to show the provider so she is comfortable giving you a BBBJ.

Look -
you are right, never make assumptions!

A lady can test clean yesterday, show you her papers, yet have had unprotected sex with her boyfriend or some fellow from the bar just last night.

Ask all you want but don't assume that will indicate your risk factor/safety. Anyone who is concerned (as everyone should be) needs to modify their *activities* in accordance with their own personal assessment of risk.  So... feel free to show me your test results, you still are NOT getting BBBJ.

Oh, and it doesn't hurt to go to the CDC website and inform yourself, including looking at all those nasty pics if you haven't yet.

BTW, no way no how am I ever sharing my personal medical records with clients.  I'm not giving you my birth name.  Hell, how would you even know they were MY test results that I was showing you?!?

It is a great way to start up a converstation with a provider that you have never seen before, especially if you are getting read to do uncovered daty.

I think this is the last way you want to bring up a conversation, as mentioned above they surely are not going to show you any of their medical records or even discuss them with you, in fact if you do bring it up you will probably make them more leary of you and your session will probably go downhill from there. Most established providers take great pride in their appearance and health, and to question them would be almost insulting, like asking them did they brush their teeth or take a bath before you arrived.  Just my 2 cents.

On the contrary, I have been asked about my STD status, and was not in the least offended by the question. I told him when I'd last been tested, how often I get tested, and that I had gotten a clean bill of health.

Sure, I could have lied through my teeth. But for my part, it was reassuring to me that he actually asked me about my habits. Its a trust issue on both sides, trusting that each person makes sensible and safe choices. Being asked about how often I am tested went along way toward building my trust.

Just my opinion, take it for what its worth.

A established well provider asked me if I had a std check before she gave me a bbbj of my life.

i guess it doesn't hurt to ask, but seems kinda pointless to me, cause what is it worth?

anyone can lie...

How risky is it (nuther newbie question) for a lady to perform BBBJ anyways?

It can be pretty risky for both people involved.  The virus that causes oral herpes can be transmitted genitally via a BBBJ, even if the provider has no visible cold sore (oral herpes).  Initial herpes infections can be quite severe, and if you don't want to infect your wife or SO, BBBJ's may not be a good idea.  HPV, the virus that causes genital warts, is transmitted via skin-to-skin contacty, so even using a condom does not provide 100% protection.  Same things for herpes -- condoms do provide some protection, but not 100%.

Gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis, can all be harbored orally and transmitted via oral sex.  Given the large number of sex partners a provider has, they are much more likely to have some kind of STD.  Safer sex can minimize the risk but, there is still a risk.  I have recently been investigating this hobby, but have been held back by the thought of contracting something like herpes that you can never get rid of.  Visit www.racoon.com for more information about herpes, and www.cdc.com for information about all STD's.

I'd be curious to know if anyone out there has contracted something they know about, like herpes, or if anyone has contracted something and brought it home to the wife?
