I think it signals that you are legit if you have a track record of reviews over time with established providers.  It may also be a good way for providers to verify you with other providers you have seen and reviewed.  I guess she could read your reviews and see what you like.  Sounds like a win-win to me!

You're right not to lie in any case.  If you aren't comfortable giving your ID out, say so and explain why. I think most providers would understand.

I came across an agency that I would love to do business with.  All of their providers have great TER reviews.  One thing that I found strange on the online booking form they ask for my TER username  (i'm sure they will probably ask for it if I book over the phone too).  I don't really have a problem with this initially.  I am just wondering if this is smart and what risks I am taking by doing this.

My point of view is that I want to be honest and upfront with any provider/agency.  Being caught in a lie with them puts the relationship in jeopardy.  I do not know if the agency will reject me if I don't give it up.  I just don't want to lie.

Does anyone out there have any suggestions on what I should do?  Has anyone had any experience with this?  Should I just move on?

Any input is appreciated.  Thanks in advance!

Tell them that you are not a full member or even a memeber and that you just love to go in and browse .... One agency likes to know because they want to make sure that you will be writing a review after you see one of their girls ... the provider will also remind you to get that review done ... lol....

My guess is they probably want to check if you have posted any reviews.

Thanks a lot guys I really appreciate the input.  Something in the back of my mind says that something bad could possibly come of it.

For example, the agency that I am scouting has an incall location where I will meet other providers there.  I plan to do a lot of business with them because they all have great ratings.

Here is where I see trouble...What if I give a subpar or bad rating for a provider?  Would they prohibit me from booking again with another provider within the agency?  I suppose it is possible for this to happen...Can anyone else out there come up with any other scenario that may make me reconsider giving my username out?

Once again, any input is appreciated.

Uh..if your worry about them seeing a bad review, then you can always not write one. You know they old saying "If you've got nothing good to say, don't say it at all."

The only reason to right these reviews are to help others out, but if you're worried it will hurt you, then don't write one.

First, you know you don't HAVE to write a review for everyone you see. I've seen a lot more than the 11 reviews I have credit for.

Second, I don't really see any problem giving your TER name in general. In fact, I've avoided "screening" by several providers I hadn't seen previously by saying who I was. I've even made arrangements to meet using the local discussion board and PM system.
