END OF MESSAGE

It's a great place for the new guys and gals to come for answers. And a great place for the rest of us to come for a little refresher, every now and then.

Thanks for putting up with us.

and providers. This is probably the most valuable function of this site other than the reviews.

I resolve to invest more time and attention in the Newbie board, and, um - to be nice!

I'm glad to do my part.

I remember being a newbie not all that long ago.  When I started, I promised myself "I'd not do anything stupid".  Since joining TER I realized I was not as careful as I should be.  I was lucky, fortunately, that my initial attempts did not blow up in my face.  Now I'm just paying it forward...  to the best of my ability, while I continue to learn the finer points.  (A kind lady pointed out a blunder just a couple of days ago.  I do appreciate it.)

I appreciated those who posted and ask questions, so I do not mind sharing my limited knowledge

Is there a term for when you White Knight for newbies?

Oh yeah, "courtesy". :)

And we, and they, should be thanking you for keeping the boards running smooth.

we are indirectly helping ourselves.  Keeping others safe...  reduces the bad PR that threatens all of us...  (increased bad PR makes for suspicious SOs.)

Not every persons circumstances are exactly identical and there may be more than one way to solve a problem...  but we all need to be aware of the mistakes which get guys caught, & the ways to work around them.

I'm happy to help the newb's, after all, we were all in that boat at some point in time.  I have only been hobbying for 3 years, and I am still learning stuff.  That's one reason I read this board.

I do my research when I find a lady I want to see before making any attempt to set up a date.  One can never have enough knowledge in this hobby.
