Not sure if this happens alot, but I've seen this providers ads on backpage and was on the list of ones I would want to see. This past Tues, she posted an ad for an incall special on Wed. She uses her website to arrange appointments and I filled out the form and submitted it. I never received any kind of response on way or the other, so yesterday, I sent her an email just to see if she got my request or just blew me off, here is what I sent:
"Hi ?????,
I'm just curious why you never responded to my request for an appointment. Is it because I'm new? Any reply would be appreciated.
?????"
I just got this email from her this morning:
"I have been out of town!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
That was it, I replied to her and said I was sorry if I offended her and said I wouldn't bother her again, but did I do anything wrong?
by sending a follow up email. I would not have apologized to her, but would have had a few choice words. Cross her off your list. If she is going to have an attitude in an email she will probably have one in person.
Ads on Backpage are often ones that repeat automatically. It's easy to forget what ads you've got up and go out of town. If a provider doesn't reply right away, it's best to just ignore it. She may reply in a few days or never. Why she doesn't reply is .... well ... none of your business. In terms of ettiquette I would have let it drop and maybe tried again in a few weeks.
i don't think you did anything "wrong" - that said, two comments:
first, this is precisely why i hate using those dumb forms (not to mention lack of encryption/security) - i would have initially e-mailed her and asked if i could provide info preferaby over the phone, maybe via e-mail
second, you may not have intended it, but your follow-up e-mail sort of assumes she got it and was ignoring you (this is how i interpret it), which was not true (she may have been offended by this, thus her response) - a more "gentle" approach would be something like: "hi - i filled ouy your form a few days ago and haven't heard back yet - i am just following up with this e-mail to see if you got my information of if there was some problem with anything" then wait a few days for a response
Thanks for the feedback, I was unaware of auto-repeating ads on backpage and I should have shrugged it off. Maybe in 6-12 months I'll try her again, maybe.

the number of question marks would be a bit annoying but still no excuse for her rude behavior. Just move on, this is probably not someone you want to spend time with.
for the responses. Yea, even though I should have worded it better, I was kinda surprised at her reply. She's a reviewed provider with decent reviews, but I'm moving on.
If i'm out of town for personal reasons I don't look @ my "work" email. If I'm out of town and working then i respond fairly quickly. Maybe she's like me and doesn't look at her "work" email when she's not available to see anyone.
