Everything was set for 3pm today, was to call at 2:30, tried for over hour on the phone....nothing, most of the time a busy signal, even left a few voice mails.  So far no call back or email.

Good thing I have another booked tomorrow, should go much better since I saw her last Saturday.

So what now?  

Give her 24-48 hours to get back to you. If she reschedules or otherwise attempts to make it up to you, let it pass. But if she doesn't, feel free to post to your local board about the no show.

It is very rude and inconsiderate to not extend the courtesy of a quick phone call to let someone know a scheduled appointment has to be re-scheduled. . A reasonable person would call their plumber or even their yard guy if they had to cancel. Oh wait a minute, those people will charge you if you pulled a no show... seems people are driven by $$$$ and if they do not have any $$$$ consequences, then they are willing to leave you hanging.  In my opinion, a client or provider is far more important than a plumber or yard guy. It is NEVER ok to no-show a client or a provider.

I can not think of a single acceptable excuse for pulling a no show for a scheduled appointment, real emergencies aside.

Were I you, I would certainly let others know of your experience with this provider so they do not have to go through the same thing. After all, that is what this board is all about.

I am pretty sure if you had read that the provider who just did this to you had done such things in the past, you may have thought twice about seeing her.

Hell, what has happened to everyday common courtesy?

Ps… people who pull no-shows are one of my pet peeves…  

Well she had two pages of good reviews, a lot off the chart, and I don't recall any that talked about a no show.  I'll give her a few days to see what she says.  If nothing then I guess I have to put a bad review out there.
