If I asked for a cbj instead of a bbbj?

They give hobbyists what is requested, within reason.  I have had some excellent sessions where the BJ was covered. You should be able to discern from reviews whether a provider gives good covered service. When you find good ones near you, do business with them, many hobbyists will not.
Most hobbyists avoid something.  I now avoid providers that do CIM and swallow, because I am not into that and would not want to do DFK with a provider that is into it.  I also avoid providers that get off on rough action and abuse from hobbyists.
Preferences are an individual thing, you need to do what makes you feel comfortable.

Are you just not into dfk or is because of some risk?

I prefer DFK if the woman has fresh breath, good teeth and a generally well kept appearance.  Nothings beats DFK combined with a hot physical session.
 But many hobbyists and providers do not do DFK, or DATY. I do not DATY most of the providers that I meet, a provider has to hit a minimum threshold of looks, and be squeaky clean from the standpoint of soap, water and dental care clean. I have a couple of providers that I see regularly who I would not DATY.
 If you have concerns about DFK or DATY, then you should not do them. I my case, if I come upon a provider that does not DFK or even kiss or allow DATY, then I focus on what she is willing to do and whether she does it well. If she does the things that she is comfortable with well and I am pleased, then I would not hesitate to see her again.

I like to kiss not so sure about dfk only because, I feel awkward with someones tounge in my mouth.  I've only daty and allowed bbbj once only because she made me feel so confortable before hand.
