Need your help. But first, let me be clear. I am the SO arranging a date for my husband. I made the mistake previously of not identifying myself clearly. For that, I' apologize.
Here's the problem. The date is tomorrow but we've had no confirmation. Three weeks ago she said she put him on her calendar and instructed us to email her a confirmation one week in advance and then she would talk to us. We did that and have heard nothing since. This afternoon, we sent a polite message asking for confirmation that the date is still on. Silence, no response. In these circumstances, is it appropriate to call her tomorrow afternoon? We've spent to a lot of trouble to set up the nicest possible details for this meeting. Would be sooo disappointed if this thing falls apart and not even know why. By the way, her reviews show her as a dependable provider.

of this business. I would send another email, maybe put the date and time in the subject line, and ask her to confirm the appointment. If you don't hear anything by noon, then I would try to contact her by phone.

Good luck and hope it all works out.

Nothing wrong about following up, and if she does not respond by say 6 hours before the date, I would not sit around waiting. I normally ask my clients to confirm the day of at least 6-8 hours before the appt. so I can go ahead and purchase anything that I might need for them.

by writing a review. You've asked a number of questions and taken a few shots,  don't be known as a "taker" try being a "giver". There aren't a lot of couples reviews, this would help those interested in the experience.

I just read one from a woman about a girl in NYC, and it was a breath of fresh air.

One hour before our appointment, we're in a upscale suite setting up music, wine, etc. Text message comes through from the provider saying she has to cancel for an emergency. Okay, that can happen to anyone. She suggested rescheduling possible the following week. "Sure" we responded. It's been a week and not a word. I am really at a loss with this one. My husband is very particular about what he is looking for and has his heart set on this provider. What to do?
