I have read a few discussions on here about how guys don't trust BackPage and/or escorts without any reviews. I'm wondering how other girls who work independently started off.
You might want to ask this on your local regional board as well. I'm not a provider, but I think many girls started out working for an agency until they established a sufficient clientele to go indy. There are other places to advertise besides BP, here is a good one, despite the fact that you are limited to once every 7 days. Posting on your local regional board and the daily photo board are other ways to get your name out there.
It probably depends on your location but I have seen some providers claim they get more business from BP than from TER. So I would certainly check out your local board for their advice.
you read this you will see how to place an ad on your regional ad board (1 allowed every 7 days), you can also list a link to your website or escort mall ad on any reply to a thread. Do this on your regional board and hobbyists will get to know you and see how friendly and sexy you can be.
I'm probably just really bad at writing ads, but most of the people I've seen from TER including the few people that said they'd write me a review found me from joining in on the discussions. I would continue to post weekly on the regional board and like the other guys said the daily photo board. It seems to me that a lot of the guys want to get to know your personality and get a sense of who you are before booking. Cityvibe is an OKAY place other than BP, It does cost to post but I've had more luck there (and for some reason a little better clientele). I think the issue is when you're posting on BP your rates are usually a little lower and you might be a little higher volume - which is not my case - but that can be off-putting to hobbyists. I'm a provider though so I can't speak really for them, it's just the impression I've been given. I'm still new myself and while I consider myself to be extremely low volume, until I have more reviews it is hard to become established, so I do occasionally post on BP when I'm absolutely dead. I've gotten some other advice from some of the girls local to me that I would be happy to share if you'd like to email me! [email protected] Best of luck and safe fun! xoxo
