Ok this has happened twice.. I'm brand new to the hobby and do not have any previous provider references, however I do have verifiable employment with a security clearance so it's not like I could be L.E. or an axe murdurer. On 2 different occasions I set up dates with reputable providers and both times the day of the date they did not answer or return my phone calls for exact locaton to meet.. What gives? I do live in the same city as the providers with verifiable address etc..I felt like a was very professional setting up the dates and willing to provide whatever information they needed but at the same time discreet..

One thing you might consider is joining one of the verification sites, like Date-Check or Preferred411. They are pretty painless and not very expensive. The additional benefit is that you only give out your personal information one time, rather than to a number of ladies. Also, the more referrals you get on the site, the easier it becomes to set up your dates.

Thanks.. I specifically asked one of them if they prefered me signing up for date check and she said no that my employment ref was enough. I totally understand the safety issues on both our parts but they could have at least responded via email or text message and let me know they were comfortable with the situation. I'm not that hard of a person yo track down as a play in a very popular local band and work for the worlds largest express package carrier.. U have no parole officers, I'm clean, reasonably attractive and fit...the problem the reputable providers in this city are few and far between... My experience with that type of provider is that the great majority do not really honor "appointments" but rather see whoever they feel the best about or whoever gets their first at a given time.

When the guy arrives they ignore or turn off the phone til he's gone and then start taking more calls and repeat the process.

There are several such providers who are well reviewed on TER in my area. I have learned to avoid them just for the inconvenience you describe.

I only see providers who have their own websites (not advertising on CL or backpage or Eros etc ONLY), whom I can contact by email, who require *references* or verification through sites like date check and preferred411. I never have the problem you describe seeing ladies who fit these parameters....

My suggestion to you: Join date-check and preferred411, maybe RoomService2000 if you are in their area of operations. Let them screen you and vouch for you. This opens up a whole world of possibilities for a newbie and is much safer than giving out your info to escorts generally.

Thanks.. They both have legit websites and I initailly contacted them via email. They however do advertise on BP so I'm not sure if there is a corelation or not. One of the providers tours and is relatively well known on the hobby community, the other is just local. It wouldn't have bothered me that much except these would have been my first two true experiences in the hobby! I will take your advice though

though they can require that you have a certain number of referrals from members who are ladies on those sites, most do not.

Ladies who are well reviewed here and members of verification sites are in my experience the cream of the crop....
