Reviews are never taken down - just the provider's profile is
taken down.  That means you can't search for those reviews.  But
if JoeSchmo did a review of Elise (say) he, and others, will
always be able to access his review of Elise by accessing
JoeSchmo's reviews directly.

Also, many reviews are around but TER users aren't too savvy
when doing a search.  For instance, if a provider's profile has
an invalid website it will not come up in the default search.
One has to explicitly include it by clicking "Exclude Bad Websites" to No.

Hope that helps

The reasons a provider's profile would be removed include being banned by TER, the lady makes the request for whatever reason, or the lady retires and therefore the request makes sense.  from "Not older" but a 3-yr. veteran of TER.

Our statements are for the most part mutully exclusive and each
does not contradict facts in the other's post.

Providers who have been delisted (whether by TER or by request)
have no profiles (not searchable) but the provider's reviews
are still there and accessable.  The catch is that you have to
know which TER id had previously reviewed them.

Would you like proof?  I have examples to back up the statement.
That would be for both providers who have voluntarily delisted
and for those that have been banned by TER.

been delisted and retired. If you knew I saw them previously, or stumbled across my reviews, you can still see the delisted provider reviews.

Reviews that I've written have been taken down.  I would know how to find them since I wrote them.

Were your reviews approved and then subsequently removed?
Surely TER must have told you the reason why?  And was just
your review removed or was the providers entire profile removed?

In certain circumstances it may be possible that TER tries to
expunge every trace of a provider due to egregious behaviour.

BUt most provider's reviews remain available.

First line from your first post: "reviews are never taken down".  TER gave me no reason for the removal of the review (it had been approved and had been up for a long time).  I don't recall if the review came down before the profile or vice versa.  It was one of the first two that I'd written back in 2002.  Come to think of it, the first one was taken down too, and that provider's profile was only removed in the last few days!  Also, any gal that I've reviewed twice (and there have been two) the later review supplanted the earlier one.  Well let's see... that's FOUR!!!!

It actually sounds like your reviews may have been contested by
the provider and removed.  At least that's the case for the
one whose review was removed and her profile was only just
recently removed.

Also, newer reviews of the same provider always supplant the
older ones.

I'm glad you're so all-knowing.  However, you really ought to avoid using "never" and "always" in your statements.  Your last statement is incorrect, as I've seen providers with two or more reviews from the same reviewer.

Don't confuse mistakes or one-offs as policy.  Of course things
that aren't supposed to happen occur.  I use never and always
whenever I wish - it cuts down on noobie confusion.

Eden had her first review and then TER support removed it.  The gentleman who gave her that review a 10/10 inquired and this was TER's response:

"Often, what happens is the review is held until a
second one is submitted for the provider. The reason
being that many providers do not tend to get such a
high overall score, and since we have nthing to compair
this with, we wait for another review.

We do apologize for the delay, however, if she is a
legit provider more reviews will follow. We will then
be able to create a profile for her where all her
reviews, including yours, will be found.

Thanks for the support,
--TER Support Staff"

So reviews can be pulled for unexpected reasons and sometimes being really good has its downside.
