I asked the same question as a newbie 3 years ago. At first I only saw providers with a minimum of 10 reviews by reviewers who had written at least 10. I also found that PM'ng the reviewers could be very helpful.
Over time you will develop an instinct and become more comfortable contacting women with fewer reviews, and even newbies. But until you reach that point, dont take chances and leave the women with only a few reviews to the veterans.

I have a decent idea of what to do and their are some providers I'm interested in.  One I like but I feel kind of wierd that she only have 3 reviews since beginning of July.  All of which seemed to be around the same time.  At a lower rate than I've seen from other providers.  Not that low but I dunno.  I'll feel better if their was another review.

I mean, I remember be weary of really good rates and low reviews.  But I really would like to meet her............  Hm... coin toss?

If she has only three reviews and all three are from guys who have written lots of reviews, then it is probably ok. You can also PM the reviewers to get more info.

Different people have different ideas on how much reviews are enough. I usually tell newbies to look for at least 6 reviews, and at least 3 of the six should be from guys with more than 5 or 6 reviews themselves.

On the other hand, how much can you afford to risk. If you want to do the coin toss, you could get lucky. Low number of reviews and low rates, could just be because she is new. You could luck out and have a great time with a new gal before she gets popular and raises her rates.

I think most would agree that between 5 and 10 should be enough.  However, as perfectstorm said, who wrote them is at least as important as the number of reviews listed.  If she only has, say 3-5, and they are written by guys with only 1 or 2 to his credit, I'd be hesitant.  If those reviewers have 5-10 or more to their credit, you're probably good to go.

As a newbie, the last thing you want to do is TOFTT, it's just not worth it.  There are plenty of quality providers out there to choose from.

I am still trying to learn how to judge how a provider will look and perform based on her scores and reviews. Although I do have a good time, they usually are not what I would expect from their scores and their reviews.

After doing your due diligence.
As a "relatively new" provider (I became "official" in July), I also only have 3 reviews. But that doesn't mean that I've only seen 3 people.... There are many people that, for a variety of reasons, have not written reviews, and I've already had a bunch of repeats.

I agree that PMing the reviewers is the way to go.  They can be a little more candid than their review may have been.

Good luck!!!

as all three of your reviewers have solid review histories.

The quality of the review speaks more than the number, often.

The points the gentlemen make above are all valid, especially as it regards to evaluating someone by their reviews.  If a provider has only A review from a hobbyist who's done multiple reviews and it's positive, that alone may be enough for me.  The other operative phrase, of course, is YMMV.  One man's goddess is another's barely acceptable experience!

... a reputable agency. An agency that has an in depth screening process and an strict set of rules on how they do their business. If the agency has a proven track record then I'm not to concerned about the number of reviews the model has.
