So...this got me to thinking...

Was reading the previous post about flu/cold season, and I'm a little curious about somewhat more serious sicknesses.  Has anyone ever been with a provider and came home with an STD/mouth thrush/etc...?  I know its a gross question but I'm sure it happens.  It would be like finding a needle in a haystack, but I wonder what the odds of getting infected are?

I think the odds of getting infected from a provider would be far less than getting infected by a casual encounter with a civie. I get tested for EVERYTHING every three months. If anything feels or looks a little off I go to the Dr asap.
I also never see anyone if I have even a hint of a cold or flu.

It's way safer to meet with a reviewed provider than a man/woman at a bar. HOWEVER, I'm sure you know, unprotected sex is a no-no. Have you heard of HPV? I got all 3 shots to help prevent me from HPV, but women AND men may not know they have it because it's virtually undetectable. A STD test does not check for HPV. The only way for a woman to find out is visiting her gynocologist and getting a test/pap smear.

If a provider has the sniffles and sneezes, it's probably in your best interest to reschedule. A common cold is exactly what its name states, common. But, it's a pain in the butt!

You can catch alot of things even when protection is used. I caught staff from a customer it causes sores all over your face and body.(this is easy to cure with antibiotics)However I also know it is possible to catch uncurable conditions like Herpatic Witlow on your fingers ( it is a form of herpes caused by a tiny cut on your hand or cuticle coming in contact with the herpes virus)

I agree with everyone.  I know that I personally have enough respect for the ladies as well as myself to only hobby when I'm in great shape, and I hope that any respected provider with many great reviews would feel the same way.  I've learned that taking care of the ladies/being polite and a gentleman to them goes a long way.  Stay safe and have fun to all!
