I am the FL mod.  A VIP membership is free to the ladies, so I suggest you partake and we can handle this. I don't know when this happened, but I just took over in the last couple of weeks (even though it feels like years by now)

When I disapprove an ad, I always send the lady a PM to tell her exactly why. If I disapproved the ad post, you can check it out on your post history and it will tell you why as well.

I've recently re-entered the sex work industry, done a few adult videos, posted an ad on EROS, and joined TER with a basic membership (testing the waters first).

Being the discreet and cautious individual that I am, I took and friend's advice by joining TER.

I have several regular clients who love my services but do not wish to register with TER, I also have had a few new clients, one who recently wrote a review which was rejected because I don't have any reviews on this board...

How's a newbie supposed to get up and running on TER???  A girl's gotta eat!  As a provider who's "put herself out there" I'm feeling a bit discouraged, any advice?

Thanks for any pointers...

Love & Light,

Sonja

I don't think TER rejects reviews because it is the first one. How could this possibly work? Ther was another reason for the rejection as I have had reviews posted which were the first for a particular provider.

Thanks for the reply!

My client who wrote me the review called to follow-up and told me the reason was because I had no other reviews...he was told to resubmit once there are reviews on file??? Does this sound familiar to anyone???

So far not feeling the warm fuzzies from my experience with TER...

Considering a trip to The Love/Bunny Ranch and bask in the love there!

Still open to more insight from "seasoned TER members"...don't want to come off rude but seriously, makes a working girl wonder just how welcoming TER truly is???

The problem is that often first time reviews, especially if they are from first time reviewers are phony.

It would be nice if some of your regulars would join TER and write a review of you, but those might also not get posted for the same reason.

So it comes down to getting yourself well known on here and convincing long time TER members with a review history to see you and then write reviews.

It seems like a big hassle, but this is how it is done.

The place to mix it up is on your local board, plus the GD Board.

Best of luck.

Sonja, I know that's easy for me to say. But if you scroll thru the newbie board, you will similar posts to yours. TER is just a small part of the hobby world. As far as you're review being rejected by a client, I'm guessing it was also the clients first review. A first review of a provider by a review from a first time reviewer is looked with suspicion, as a possible fake review. Just the way it is. Have you tried advertising on your regional board (to the left)You can advertise once a week. Read the newbie manual back at the top of the main page. Also do you have a web site? Pictures help a lot!
Good luck

I tried posting an ad to my regional board but was rejected because I have no reviews and to my understanding cannot post my website until I have a review as well!

Yes, patience is a virtue...

At least I've still got a bit of that left, LOL!

Just doubled checked my local region, Florida, discussion board posts history (view posts tab) and confirmed that my ad post was rejected...

Don't know what that is about either...thanks for your input though, truly do appreciate all of your responses!

Interesting, perhaps I will try posting my ad again.  I posted with a link to my EROS page.

I have a basic membership (testing the waters) am I able to PM the moderator?

Sorry if this sounds dense but the instructions on this site are confusing...This board is definitely helpful!

Hi soflaguy44!

My ad was rejected on 6/3/2010..."Did not meet TER guidelines"...  I re-read the guidelines and as best as I can interpret, I adhered to all of the guidelines. Maybe the link to my EROS ad did not go through? I dunno...but I attached it...

Thanks for the introduction and guidance!

Ads I've seen are either purely self-contained or link to provider's personal website, which has to have the TER logo.

(edited title link once soflaguy's post appeared - he would be the expert!)

It's official, warm fuzzies...now have my ad posted on my regional board!

Yay!

Thanks to everyone that replied!

I wouldn't mine as a client if you asked me to post a review for you.  In fact i just asked a young lady that has no reviews if she wants me to post.
