I got into this business 6 months ago and learned the ropes from another provider. She wanted double the rent we agreed on for my room then went wack when I didn't agree. Now she has deleted all my reviews and I no longer exist anywhere. She hasn't even faced me. She had some of my things out on the sidewalk, kept most of it and cash and on and on. She had alot of control over things she shouldn't have as I was new and didn't realize her scam. Any way to get my ter profile and reviews back? She changed the password to the email associated with my ter profile. Please help, any advice? Done so wrong in Phoenix.

Your password for both your TER accounts and emails should never be given out.  Contact admin for assistance.

I have a UTR that told me what happened to her.  Almost the same story.  But it involved the boyfriend of the provider.  Boyfriend wanted a bigger commission after the fact and wanted freebies.  He outed her to her family and now she has a new name and is doing okay.

Good luck

Especially if you're a provider... I've heard stories that makes yours pale in comparison. NEVER give anyone control over your 'life'. Providers should know that relationships sour all the time and one party is often much more loyal than the other. How many hobbyists are married or in a relationship and still hobby, for example? The wife and family are oblivious.

Start over as has been said but be very cautious!

There are many good people attracted to this the ladies, their clients, and the others.  The nature of the beast also attracts some less-than-desirables as you have found out.  A friend of mine in Texas--not even a new lady but one who should have known better--trusted another lady and her entourage.  Almost the exact same thing happened and it went downhill from there.  The scum are counting on fear and the fact the victim will not go to the police.

It is not fair but the best initial advice is burying that old persona and start a new name, new image.

I am not a VIP on here but is there any way I can e-mail you?

I've heard of roomie providers bitchin about each other. There's always a bad apple stealin and conning people, and it's best you got out. She'll be out of business soon if she keeps on doing that. Word gets around.

So, keep your name clean, be honest, don't take advantage of your clients because they are your livelihood, and good karma will come.

Start with a new TER Profile.  In time old clients will recognized the new name and submit a problem report linking your new Ter with old..

Set up a new free e-mail somewhere.  Get a separate phone for business.  Put a web site together...  a template type site is fine.  You may want to regester with a screening agency especially if you used one in the past.
You can run ads here on your local board, one per 7 days.  Get your new information out there.  Use the "contact us" link to try to update your profile & see if you can get it back.
You can run ads in the same places you did before but know she'll see them & probably trash you.  I'd probably try to head this off by a simple statement "Under new management" or "now independant"...

You may need to run an "intro special" to get your new name out there & some new reviews.  Nothing drives this business as much as a bargain...  10% off...  Offer specials (pricing) to any previous client first new visit.

Try not to trash your former friend to clients.  She got you started & you should be grateful but now it's time to be on your own.  Put on your big girl panties & take the hit (It was not all kindness:  your former friend profited from your work...  as she was managing your affairs.)  Nothing you say is going to change that, so don't waste your breath.

Your former friend may try even more dirty tricks like telling clients who use the old e-mail that you are LE or have a STD.  Be prepared for that dirty trick.  ("Ex-F wasn't happy when I went out on my own."  Say no more.)

Lots of agency girls later go indy.  You can too.
Best wishes,
skb

I'm assuming that you previously had TER reviews.  That means that "you" requested to be de-listed.  From what you say, the you in this case was someone acting on your behalf, but from the site's perspective, they represented themselves as you.  Technically, this thread should probably disappear, since you've asked to be removed from the site.

Now, what to do.  There are really 2 options.  I'll call them the fairly bad option, and the REALLY bad option.  The REALLY bad option would be to pretend you were never here before, get a new website and start over.  I say really bad because when you get caught, and you will, you will get banned and it will be your fault.  There will be no way to claim that someone did it to you.

The fairly bad option is to contact TER's administration (see the "Contact Us" button at the top of the page) and explain what happened and ask to be reinstated.  You plead your case, and you get what you get.  If that's successful, which is really dependent on how honestly you've portrayed your case to us here, your profile would be reestablished and your reviews would be put back up.  That would include your history, good or bad.

I'm not trying to judge you or be mean, but that's really how it works.  Good luck.
