So what happened here?

I recently made contact with a provider. She was newly listed on a few sites and had an extensive well done website. She had a few reviews  including two here.  We exchanged e mails and she was going to pre screen me for my visit to her area. Within a few days , every trace of her has disappeared. I won't call the number I have for her or email back in fear of some sort of sting. Am I right in assuming this, I'm just re-acquainting myself with the hobby. Am I being too paranoid? Thanks. Petey

If not, then she had to leave town on the next stage for some reason, and there can be many.

If her site is still there, she might just have some short term family or medical emergency, so be patient.

about escorting. If I understand your post correctly, and she's disappeared, just move on. You'll probably never know what happened.

Some other Bostonians who post to Newbie (Mr F, BG57) might remember the very sudden disappearance of Sweet S a year or so ago. Ads, website, TER Profile, phone, ... everything disappeared in a flash.

It turns out that SS was involved in a traffic accident that led LE to discover that she was on parole from a previous violation. Parole revoked, court appearance, name in the news, revelation about "other job" in the news, ... To disappear as much as possible, she removed all traces of her existence in This Kind of Life. Fast.

Whatever her reason(s), it seems like your girl wants to disappear from This Kind of Life. Regardless of any other reason(s), I'd just leave her alone.

someone outed her, so she decided to abruptly retire.

She might show up again in a different part of the country. Or she may be gone for good.

Regardless, try again with a different lady - and don't take it personally.

I don't think this was a "sting"...  but providers have to do what they have to do.   If she took everything down, it's because she has to stop providing for some reason.  You know it was unexpected, which is more than most know.  You need to respect her decision & move on.

Not that it's any of our business, but providers leave the business all the time...  because of relationships, outting, accidents, child custody issues, arrests (her getting stung), divorce (ex would use this against her).  TER providers can request to be "delisted" which removes their profile & all reviews.
