I am new to this and I am curious about all the personal information that the agency's want. I do understand the security risks they deal with but am wondering how comfortable others are in sharing their name, work info and telephone # with agency's. They say the info isn't kept but I wonder what really happens. Any thoughts?
Most do keep your info and snd some don't. When they get busted you will be on their computer. You should only give the information that makes you feel comfotable if it's not enough move on. BTW don't use a credit card b/c they keep those too
First- use the search key on this board and search the previous posts concerning personal information. (* this has been discussed frequently on this board*)
Next- do some research and educate yourself as to who you are dealing with. There is plenty of information available on local discussion boards as well as the ability to private message or back channel experienced hobbyists.
I can not speak for agencies, but my experience with providers is that most established providers have built a reputation within the community that they live in which will either give you confidence in sharing your personal information or will make it an easy decision that it is too much risk to your personal life &/or your lifestyle.
