Imageshack should work. You don't want thumbnail, and you don't want full sized, so I assume it is one of the in between ones. I have a link below from a former question about posting pictures. This one gives about the most complete directions I have ever seen for posting pics. While it doesn't specifically answer your question it does say to make the pics about 6 to 9 kb, so maybe you can figure which one of those imageshack settings does that.
And no, you are not annoying. This is what the newbie board is for.

LOL... Hope I am not becomming one of those annoying newbies 
I use imageshack.us to store my pics online. It gives me 6 code options for posting my pics. They are Link,Full Size Forums, sites, direct, thumbnail forms, and site tags. I can't figure out which one will work on this site.
Do I need to pedify one of these links or do I need find another hosting site. If I need a new hosting
site can you suggesr one.
