Some answers.

1.  They are supposed to.  Not sure they all do, especially if they are booking back to back with no break in between.  The math just doesn't add up.  :)

2.  Verification varies on the provider.  Some providers will require a P411 or TER Whitelist reference.  Others will ask you to give your real name and work information to check you out.

3.  The provider's website is meant to give you more information, ESPECIALLY if they link to reviews on TER or another site.

4.  Sure, there are some providers that change pricing on you.  They usually don't last long.  Check out the TER reviews here...that's a good first crack at seeing if this happens.  If this happens LEGITIMATELY, it's usually because the provider has agreed to a time and you extend.  Or maybe you find out that she offers Greek, but that's an upcharge.

5.  There is nothing wrong with explicitly giving a tip.  Most providers will recognize it anyway, but it doesn't hurt to let her know that you are tipping because she is so good.

6.  Usually providers will want to get your company name, title, and the main switchboard number so they can just call and make sure that you really do work for the company.  Some girls wlll just hang up after that.  Other girls will talk to you on the phone.  The smartest ones generally ask you what you want them to say.  Examples might be..."Hi, this is Amanda, your travel agent.  Just calling to confirm your arrival at the Marriott on Lexington Avenue at 3 pm Wednesday."

7.  Depends on the provider. Don't ask.  Read the reviews.  If you are a stickler for a specific type of service and the review doesn't tell you...take the risk or pass.  Don't ask the provider.  She probably will not see you.

8.  Read the reviews or her website.  If it's not mentioned, it's bad form to ask.

Hi all, new to the hobby so I've got a few questions. I've been reading some threads here to sort of catch up and get educated. Once I'm "in the know", I'll be hitting up Eros here in NYC for providers. Thanks in advance for answering:

1. Do providers shower/clean up/freshen up after an appointment with a hobbyist? So say they've got back to back appointments, do they generally clean themselves up?

2. What does verification consist of? Is it mainly a providers check you are not LE or is it also to make sure you're not a psycho.

3. Most provider postings mention no explicit talk over the phone when calling. So when do you have the explicit talk? I mean if she quotes you for $700 incall/hr and you set up the appointment. When you meet is it basically ground rules or do you have to explicitly ask for DFK, GFE etc..?

4. Has anyone had experience where a provider quotes one price on the phone and then asks for more when you meet in person? I don't like walking around with too much loose cash.

5. Lets say you get 5 star service and want to tip the provider, do you explicitly say "hey, here's some extra since you went above and beyond". I mean I've been reading some threads here and the the proper etiquette it seems is to not mention the gift.

6. I'm kind of worried about verification, not that I have a criminal background, I want to keep this private so I'm a bit hesitant of giving out too much info. What kind of employment info do they ask for?

7. I've been reading reviews here that say a provider doesnt do CIM but let them cum on their ass, tits etc...Are all providers ok with this or you have to ask in person.

8. Aside from reading reviews prior, if there anyway of knowing a provider will allow multiple pops? I mean again all postings say no explicit talk on the phone and I dont want to book 2 hrs if its one pop and you're done. I could book 30 mins for that.

sorry for the many questions, I just kept writing :)

1. Do providers shower/clean up/freshen up after an appointment with a hobbyist? So say they've got back to back appointments, do they generally clean themselves up?

Yes and no. I try to stay away from girls who offer super low rates and 1/2 hour rates. Many of these women are possibly on the road, or trying to see as many clients as possible in a day/week. More often than not, upscale providers have higher hourly rates to attract more discerning men with some money/class and are more likely to be lower volume, having regular clients. These lower volume, higher paid providers have time between appointments to stay clean and are often impeccable.

2. What does verification consist of? Is it mainly a providers check you are not LE or is it also to make sure you're not a psycho.

Its a background check to make sure you are who you say you are and yes, that you are not LE. Providers protect one another too. If you are a demanding jerk with no respect for the ladies, you will not get referrals from the providers you see. That can be a big factor as to the willingness of a woman to spend time with you. Be polite and respect them. Always make sure your clean when you arrive with no body odors and that your donation is correct. It's a good idea that you take a minute to read the woman's etiquette page on her website. There, she explains what she expects of you during the date. You will get better BJ's too if you shave the man-scape. It never hurts.

3. Most provider postings mention no explicit talk over the phone when calling. So when do you have the explicit talk? I mean if she quotes you for $700 incall/hr and you set up the appointment. When you meet is it basically ground rules or do you have to explicitly ask for DFK, GFE etc..?

There is no need to talk about anything really. Reading the TER reviews will give you a good idea as to the kinds of activities you may enjoy on a date with a provider of your choice. Sites like P411 also allow the provider to list the activities she offers, but not all women do that. Its important that you go in and have fun. When you find a provider you click with, keep her. That's what we call an ATF [all time favorite]

You can also contact reviewers on TER anonymously and ask a question about a provider. You just need to do your research and chose wisely. Its fun to try the different women in your area, but again, if you find a good one, repeat... or you will always be going through the unknown phase with them and never really click with anyone. When a provider gets to know you and trusts you, the experiences are really good.

4. Has anyone had experience where a provider quotes one price on the phone and then asks for more when you meet in person? I don't like walking around with too much loose cash.

Only once in the 16 years I have done this and it was an agency girl years ago. I called her out, saying I was going to contact the agency and have them send another girl at the listed price and that changed her tone real fast. It was uncomfortable. With sites like P411 and TER and the ladies having websites etc...that kind of stuff never happens anymore. Just stay off sites like Backpage and you will be fine.

5. Lets say you get 5 star service and want to tip the provider, do you explicitly say "hey, here's some extra since you went above and beyond". I mean I've been reading some threads here and the the proper etiquette it seems is to not mention the gift.

Always leave the donation in an unmarked white envelope. If you loved the service, see her again. Put the tip in the envelope the second time you see her. More often than not, it will bite you in the ass trying to talk about money.

6. I'm kind of worried about verification, not that I have a criminal background, I want to keep this private so I'm a bit hesitant of giving out too much info. What kind of employment info do they ask for?

Your answer is in your question! That you work there!

7. I've been reading reviews here that say a provider doesnt do CIM but let them cum on their ass, tits etc...Are all providers ok with this or you have to ask in person.

What works for me is to calmly ask - Where can I finish? They will let you know. Some reviews say the woman will allow CIM, but that is not always the case and YMMV. [Your Mileage May Vary]

8. Aside from reading reviews prior, if there anyway of knowing a provider will allow multiple pops? I mean again all postings say no explicit talk on the phone and I dont want to book 2 hrs if its one pop and you're done. I could book 30 mins for that.

MSOG is a standard for any well known/reviewed provider. However, YMMV at times. Why are you trying to get around reading reviews? The information is here for a reason. Use it

Thanks for the response. I've been reading reviews (I bought VIP membership) and I've been picking up good pointers. I was hoping to use backpage just to get some references out the way but it seems like I should try and avoid backpage.

Also I see a few providers on the board, if any would kindly add more commentary to surlyboy's post that would be greatly appreciated.

Here are my thoughts as someone who's only been part of the hobby for a few months...

1. I'm certain the only answer you'll hear on these boards are yes. Make sure you're seeing a well-reviewed provider and you'll have no worries.
2. All of the above. Can they prove you're a real person, do you have a reputation in the hobby world, etc.
3. I think this one's been covered in some detail. A good search should give you a better answer than I could.
4. I haven't but again, seeing well-reviewed providers will prevent up-sells.
5. I've never said a word, just placed more money on top of the donation. But that's me. I don't see a need to call attention to it. The lady is going to know you tipped her if you say something nor not.
6. YMMV
7. No, they aren't all ok with it. Experienced providers will let you know ;)
8. Reviews and using all of the tools here on TER for newbies are your best bet. If you don't have VIP, you should :)

Good luck to you.

getting VIP here if you have not already it was well worth the price.By having VIP some of the questions you have can be answered just by reading providers reviews and looking at her TER profile.
To answer your questions:
1)If you are going with a well-reviewed provider of course she will clean herself and take care of her hygiene after an appointment. Most well-reviewed providers are not having back to back guys arriving at her door there should be enough time in between appts to take care of that. Also, not every provider has back to back appts you might be her only appt for the day who knows!Just make sure your hygiene is together and read the reviews if you do not read anything about hygiene issues probably is not an issue.

2)Every provider is different on what she may require for verification of an appt.
Some might ask for references from other reputable providers, some might want your employment info, and some will accept a membership from a verification site. The best suggestion is to look at the providers websites or ads you are interested in and see exactly what her requirements are.I would also include that you are a newbie as some providers might not be newbie friendly.A lady needs to verify that you are safe and not a nut.

3)Explicit talk by email or phone is a big no-no.Most reputable providers are not going to discuss rates via phone or email especially if she has a website or ads where this info can be found. You can also see rate info on TER profile but I would advise to look at the websites and ads because sometimes rate info on a TER profile might be outdated. At no point should there be explicit talk before an appt that is what reviews is for to have an idea of what to expect.

4)If you are meeting a provider who quotes a rate on the phone(not good business IMO)and then when you arrive it is a different rate is known as a upsell.Which brings me back to my original point go with well-reviewed reputable providers who do not do this they do not upsell you or change their rates at the last minute. When you deal with people who do not really care about their business and reputation you will get the upsell.

5)Tip can be included in the envelope at the beginning or given to the provider at the end of the session.Just slide it to her in the envelope if it is still out and let her know this is for her to get herself something nice,or valet/cab money, just do not mention tip and don't make a big deal out of it.

6)You would need to ask the provider you are specifically interested in what type of info she needs to verify employment.Every provider is different so you will not receive a standard answer to this question that is why research is so important.

7)No not all providers are fine with that look at her TER profile and read reviews and you should have your answer on who offers that or not. Also,if multiple rounds are available that will also be here you just have to do your research and another good reason to have a VIP.

I would suggest reading the self-help center the link is here on the newbie boards. Many of these questions have already been answered.Good  luck to you and have fun!

... definitely read the review as many have said but also check out the providers profile. The profile and the reviews should back each other up. You asked specifically about more than one pop. The profile has a section "multiple pops allowed" It will say yes, no, Don't know, ( might say sometimes, I can't remember for sure) but what ever it says in the profile should be verifiable by the reviews.

Nothing I can add to what has been posted.  I hope you read them all very carefully.  This is the place to ask your questions without fear of ridicule.  You can search this forum for each of your questions and you might find more opinions.
