My name is Lacy. I am an independent provider in the Kansas City area.  I posted my first ad on Craigslist, but I am not satisfied with the results.  It seems like I spend all of my time trying to figure out who is a cop and who is for real.  I have been trying Backpage.com lately and it is alright.  Can I get some suggestions on how to have more success finding willing participants that are not police officers???? but you should be on your local board (which in your case, unfortunately, is "other") and chatting it up there.

With luck, you may entice a TER reader to see you and write a review, and from there it should get a lot easier.

Craig's List is often denigrated as a good place to meet a cop, but in your area it may be the only game in town.  Don't skimp on the checking.

You should also seek out support from other providers in your area and maintain contacts with them.  They can render a lot of assistance.

by reading TER.  Your photo shows that you have good ASSets.  Wish I were in the KC area.

First, Where the hell were you a month ago when I was in town! LOL  I had two evenings free and was dissapointed one of them...

Craigslist is useless in KC, the signal/noise ratio is just too high.  Backpage is definitely a better option there.

IF I am looknig at the right ad;

Better pictures (the one you used here looks great), can't tell anything about you.  Blur your face somewhat if you feel it necessary but leave enough for people to get some idea what you look like. (We men are terribly shallow).

Consider a website in addition to your ads.  It allows you to go into more detail about who you are and your rate  structure, etc.  It also lends more of an air of credibility.

If I may be forgiven for saying so, you are probably slightly overpriced for the local market.  You may get it to work for you, but it will likely be an uphill battle until you are known.

I hate to say it, but TER doesn't seem to be as important there as some other sites might be.  The locals are more active on a couple of other sites that I can't name here.

Consider using date-check.  I haven't the slightest idea about the cost or verification process for a lady, but it does get some use in your area.

Consider this advise to be worth exactly what you paid for it.  ;^)
