Simple Question: Should I be in bath robe?

I'm in a motel room, meeting a provider there. Is it advisable for me to just take a shower ahead of time, and answer the door in my bath-robe? ya know? donation on the dressing table and all?

You should take the shower but I think it's best to greet your guest fully clothed. The bathrobe strikes the wrong chord. Your guest will be more comfortable if you have on a proper outfit.

First time, wear street clothes.  It's a bit presumptious to be half naked meeting a new friend.

Subsequent appointments, once a rapport has been established, most anything goes.

Just occured to me, if it's a massage appointment, then a bathrobe might be OK.

Just make that you don't bring the robe home. Keep it work or some where else besides home if you are married.
