I'm looking to take the hobbyist plunge soon but I have some questions concerning the screening process. What information do they ask for? Is the screening process different with an independent provider vs. an agency? Do they ask for employment info? If so, will they contact the office number?
Also, I've seen some providers list their rates in terms of "roses" or "kisses" (like 160 roses, etc.). Is this just code or shorthand for $160 or is there another meaning?
Finally, I've seen reference to a self-help guide here but cannot find it. Is it for VIP members only? I'm working on VIP membership, but need to do cash option with no paper trail...

While P411 and DateCheck are a big help (and I belong to both), they do not guarantee successful screening with all providers. Some will have their own additional screening needs, including calling your office or wanting your full name so they can check it against your driver's license when you arrive. If you want to see them you'll have to agree, or move on to someone else. They may also want your TER handle so they can check your reviews to see if you're a tough grader. Many guys will not give out their handle to protect themselves from angry girls who didn't earn the score they thought they deserved. That's why TER now permits you to create a separate alias for reviews.

After you have read the self help section, read back on this board until you can answer every question yourself. No one can do this for you since you must filter the info through your own circumstances... but the education from these sources is invalueable to those considering this hobby.

A lot of info there but I intend to read it all to learn as much as possible so I'll be prepared when my first time comes.. I'm also saving up enough cash (slowly so wife does not notice any large withdrawals in case she happens to see the bank records) in order to get a very high-quality lady for at least two hours since I'll probably be nervous the first time and want a little time at least to help relax.
My problem with the employment part is I'm an accountant with a government agency - I hope this won't scare off any providers, I'm NOT law enforcement, I just want to be with a young, beautiful woman - and a call to our group secretary is dangerous since she is an extreme gossiper and busybody, even if the call is disguised as something else. I do understand that it needs to be done so I can make up some BS if asked about it..
