When dealing with BP ads, just send text message saying something to the effect of: Hi, my name is (insert your hobby name here). I saw your ad on BP, could you please tell me what your donation is? Thanks.
If there's no answer, a nonsensical answer, or if she wants $12,000 for half an hour, then don't answer, just move on.
I've noticed more than a few provider ads on BP and Eros (not so much TER) where there's no mention of an hourly rate and no link to a website with further information. Only a phone number is listed. This presents a dilemma. Do I make the call and risk being embarrassed because I find out the provider is at $500+ and out of my price range? And don't providers avoid talking about $ on the phone anyway? Not sure how it's all supposed to work in this situation. Any comments, suggestions are welcome.
Stick with well reviewed providers and you will find all the information you need. Pick the first pretty face with a number you see on BP or EROS and you may end up paying a price far greater than you can imagine. Research is the key to staying safe and out of harms way. If you can't easily find the information you need, move on to someone who provides it and doesn't make you guess.
I can't find a rate somewhere, I move on. I'm not gonna call her and ask her rates. There are plenty out there in any guy's price range. Don't waste your time on this one.
and she has a TER profile, that profile should list a rate.
You can then say something to her when you're making the appointment along the lines of: I presume the donation information on your TER profile is accurate.
If she has no reviews, then that a second good reason to move on.
