Just joined TER, am working up to first date.  I've noticed that many providers do BBBJ.  Best I can figure, getting one poses a small HIV risk, though different web sites say different things about that.  But providers give many of them, and hobbyists get many of them, which would seem to raise risk all around.  Curious as to how guys and girls perceive this risk and/or how they minimize the risk.  Thanks in advance for your perspective.

from what I know and have read, the risk is minimal,(4 in 10,000) but why take a chance?

This subject is continually discussed here.  Try doing a search in this forum using BBBJ and you'll turn up a treasure trove of info.  I doubt anybody can add anything new that hasn't already been said.

I can certainly understand the risk involved with a BBBJ. Then again, I can remember once having a CBJ, during which I can remember LOL the entire time (which, I'm sorry to say, pissed off the provider), wondering to myself, What a waste of time and $ (for BOTH of us).

any fluid contact is risky. Females can get STD's from giving oral, also.

Medically speaking - slim to none for the male and small to slight risk for the provider. Click on the CDC website for a more detailed answer and info.
