I've recently had someone make a website for me and link it to my TER account. The website was made with poor taste and has incorrect stats about my height. I contacted the TER administration only to be given a really difficult time, (they told me to contact the website and ask for removal which I did, 2 months ago. Multiple times.) I've had no luck getting it disable and the TER administration won't remove the link unless it's disabled. Super frustrating
How do I remove the websites thats attached their website ads to my TER id? Every website and/or blog that's attached to my ID, I did not put there. I do have a website I'd like to attach and blog information but how I get the fakes off, first?
and click on report a problem provide the links to the ads that you do not want on your profile. Let ter know you did not add those links and the ads are fake. They will remove them include your blog and website as the links you want added to your profile.
As PS and JDL said, if some site has copied or cloned your ad, look for their "Contact Us," "Report an Ad" or similar link. On Skipsweb, it's at the bottom: Terms of Service and Privacy Policy TOS - Privacy - Content Removal Request
To remove links provided in your TER Profile, you can contact TER Admin via "Problem Report" or "Contact Us" and add, delete or otherwise correct the info in your Profile.
So as not to be merely redundant, I will another general suggestion to watermark your pictures. That will decrease the likelihood that others will steal them for use in their own BP or other ads. There are various problems with that, such as: a thief steals your pics and posts ads as Susan ###-####, Bonnie ###-#### and so on. That degrades the credibility of your own ad if someone notes: Watch out for MR! She has multiple listings using different names and numbers! Could be B&S! YOUR ads are you and are real. The others have not just stolen your pics but, potentially, harmed your reputation.
since TER has distanced itself from BP. I do not know if TER has a hand in these search sites or not... I don't like the search sites because there's no telling where the ads were gathered from. But if you have a good link, I'm glad TER will use it & remove the junk.
