I had never given this much thought myself and assumed that time spent in shower at the beginning of date was included in scheduled time. However, I read of review where the guy made it seem as if the time starts after the shower is taken. I know that some providers prefer you shower there in order to make sure it's done instead of you showering in your own before your date so his line is thinking could potentially make sense. So does it count againstyiur time schedules or not?
While some providers are very lenient with their time, and let some clients go over time, or do things like let them shower "off the clock," never assume, or expect that. Expect it to be part of your time. In any case, you should still shower at home, (or the gym, or the office, etc.) if at all possible, before your date. Then the shower you take at her incall shouldn't take more than a few minutes.

The overwhelming consensus is that showering is on the clock, especially when she joins you in the shower.
I just want to point out (again) that a few Providers even have a standard 70-75 minute hour for the specific purpose of getting their guests to take REAL showers (not a 10 second spray) knowing that he will still get a full 60 minutes of fun. E.g., Ginger Taylor, TER ID: 130629.
What I mean is, if you showered before the appointment, then taking a quick shower there should only take you 5 min. that's no big deal to count towards the time, and most ladies probably don't care if you run over by a few minutes at the end.

I appreciate all of your feedback. I had always assumed that shower time was included in your appointment time but I was surprised when I read the review saying that the standard was for the appointment to begin once you finish with your shower. I just wanted to make sure I hadn't been shorting myself on time.

As mentioned, some (a few) Providers do start the clock AFTER the shower in order to encourage a REAL shower and so the showered client doesn't feel short changed. Check the website of the Provider who was reviewed to see if she has a "shower not counted against your hour" policy.
