So... I'm learning that ideally we contact only well reviewed providers. Are you guys really saying NEVER contact someone with no reviews? There are providers I would really like to contact! is there any questions i should ask them on the phone? to minimise the risk of le and having a dissapointing experince. I should add that a NON- reviewed girl has been my best provider so far. Thanks for the good advice :)
(ps) my first review is pending approval

Too many things can go wrong.  Ripoffs, B&S, LE, are only a few of the possible problems.  The phone questions will not help you.  In fact, TOO MANY questions on the phone will turn the girl OFF, and may get you zero appointments.  Good luck!

It's a lot like putting your hand on a hot stove.  Some people just learn better by making their own mistakes.

TOFTT, wait until you have a little more time and experience under your belt. (pun intended) You'll be a lot happier for it.

I am not sure that I totally agree with you nice gents on this point. On the one hand, yes it is not a very good idea to see a provider who is not reviewed. However, the best of us started out with absolutely no reviews. Somebody had to make the jump to give us a chance. Also, are you speaking of TER reviews or reviews in general? I have reviews on a different site but since I am new to TER I have none here. It is no doubt that it is the same for some other ladies...I am not sure.
I think what really matters is how you handle the situation. I know that for me, there were a couple of times when the tables were turned and I had to make the decision to see a gentleman who had no references. One was a nice guy and I had a good feeling about him. I tend to listen to my gut. It has never let me down...indeed it is when I don't listen to it that I fall into trouble. I decided to take the time to talk to this person and I got to know him. It took a month of correspondences via e mail, in box and phone before I finally agreed to see him. The point being, that the ones who are worth taking a chance on are the ones who will gladly devote their time to getting to know you. The absolute best thing about it was that when we finally got together, I felt as though I was seeing a dear old friend and we had an amazing time. We are now the best of friends still to this day. Remember, she is the one who needs the review (just as the gentleman needed the reference) and if she worth her grain of salt, she will happily give you all the time you need to make your decision.

I would like to add quickly,,,if you are new and not yet confident in your ability to pick out the nuances, hold out until you have a bit more experience.

At least spend some time emailing with her or talking on the phone to get a comfort level.

I have seen a few gals with no or very few reviews, and by having some back and forth, I grew comfortable with them.

so there's not much point in asking.  The veterans suggest putting this one in your bucket list for a while.  You know what to watch out for.  It's your call.

Are You Experienced? If not you may be setting yourself up for a world of hurt.  As a newbie I would never risk it. But if you're into risky activities then go for it.  I'm also too chicken to try any of the following:

Running with the bulls

Dental hygienist for sharks

Tiger groomer

Milking venom from snakes

Kidnapping a baby grizzly bear cub in sight of the mother

Taunting a Somali warlord to his face

Using a trebuchet to catapult yourself

Pro Sniper Baiting

Driving with Ted Kennedy

Hunting with Dick Cheney

Alligator wrestling

Minefield tag

Lava surfing

Asking for change for a hundred dollar bill on a Haiti street

And lastly, telling a woman that the dress she is wearing makes her butt look fat.

If the agency is on the up-an-up, as determined by having several ladies (past or present) with extensive reviews that are rated high, nothing wrong with taking a flyer on an unreviewed lady from the same agency. You should be able to rule out B&S, LE etc.

You won't know what to expect in the session, per se, but no less so than a for a veteran hobbyist.

Reviews are reviews, for the most part.  They count as long as the site is reliable.  If that doesn't make sense, then the reviews don't count.

Indeed, everyone needs to start somewhere.  There are ways to tell a good one from a bad one, regardless of if we're talking about hobbyist or provider.  I don't think that a beginner is going to be schooled in those ways, as a rule.  The backup plan is the rule of the land.  In this case, that's sticking to someone that's well reviewed.

But...but...but...all of that sounds like so much Fuuuun! Lets see...

unning with the bulls...there's ALWAYS safety in numbers.

Dental hygienist for sharks...they can't be that bad...right?

Tiger groomer...but its just a big Kitty

Milking venom from snakes...as long as you have the anti venom...right???

Kidnapping a baby grizzly bear cub in sight of the mother...if you have a good tranquilizer gun handy and a reaaaaly fast car, you should be fine!

Taunting a Somali warlord to his face...as long as you tell him the medicine man put a special blessing on you that made you one with God and immune to his bullets...all should be well.

Using a trebuchet to catapult yourself...calculate the distance and landing properly and things should go just fine. No PROBLEM!!!

Pro Sniper Baiting...body armor. LOTS of body armor!

Driving with Ted Kennedy...make sure you have have more money than him to bribe all the rest of the sharks swimming out there and you should do just fine.

Hunting with Dick Cheney...Scare him first...maybe he'll die of a heart attack BEFORE he shoots you.

Alligator wrestling...its just a giant lizard. YOU can take 'em!!!

Minefield tag...Bring in lots of partners & send in a decoy first. If he explodes then you know where NOT to step.

Lava surfing...use that foam that fire fighters use and have a great time.

Asking for change for a hundred dollar bill on a Haiti street...well that just doesn't make any sense.

And lastly, telling a woman that the dress she is wearing makes her butt look fat....NOW THATS a death sentence just waiting to happen. I would never do that! You must be insane to even suggest that!!!

There are to many great providers to have a bad experinece. Good luck

Funny...I've never heard of that happening.
I thought we were the ones who could be killed by TOFTT with an unreviewed man...which is a generally accepted practice here.
And yet, that Markoff guy would have screened ok going by the usual methods--he was an upstanding medical student and all...the only thing missing would've been reviews, i.e. references.
