One review will not get her access to the PO board.  Besides the 3 reviews needed, she has to show she is interested by posting on site.  The unwritten rule to gain access to the PO board is a posting history.

I visited a provider who's had some frustration trying to get set up on TER--and wants to be here.

Doesn't sound like she's tech-challenged but has been a bit frustrated.  I see there is a provider only section here--can any of the providers tell me if it's friendly and helpful over there?

One of the problems she was talking about had to do with some requirement to link TER on her website before being allowed to take part on TER.  I think I have seen other new providers ask about that before too.

I was thinking any provider with an ad or website that can be linked to can be reviewed  here, but is that not the case?  Does TER have to approve you somehow, and is it that cumbersome to do?

I will be submitting a review soon so I guess I'll find out soon enough but I'd like to be able to point her in the right direction.

Any member of TER can take part in the discussions on TER and further she can always link to her website when she does post IF she has an active TER link on her website.  She can find out how to do that by reading the Newbie/Self help manual that is linked on this page.

When she does get a review, she needs to contact TER administration and ask for a link to her review page each time she posts.

Has she checked to see if perhaps she has a review already?  Anyone can go to "search reviews", enter some identifier which could be a website URL, email, or phone number and then hit "search".  If she has a review, a page with those review will come up.

She can get on TER by simply joining. Participate in discussions on her regional board and here (the newbie board). Her "handle" could be something that lets others know she is a provider. She does not have to link TER on her web site to do this.

She does have to link her web site (or ad) to TER in order to post ads ( for free) on her regional ad board and to be able to include a link to her site (or ad) when she posts.

She can and should participate in the photo theme threads on her regional board whenever they are done.

She must have a web presence to be reviewed on TER. It can be a web site or an ad on BP, Eros, P411, or other as long as those places don't also have reviews.

TER does not have to "approve" her. She simply has to meet the TER guidelines in regard to her ad or website before she can place an ad or be reviewed. But she can participate right now and get the other things set up while "learning TER.

Once she has a review ( one is all that's required) she can contact TER admin and ask that they connect (link) her handle to her review. Then whenever she posts there will be a link to her profile and review(s) under her handle in the post. (Others have already mentioned this.)

The PO (providers only) board is open to her after she has three reviews and has established a presence on TER by posting/participating to show she can and will follow TER guidelines. She has to apply for admission to the PO board. (The others also mentioned this.)

Check the link below for the Self-Help Center. Additionally the Self-Help Center can be found on the upper right of most discussion boards. It (the link) is directly under the red and white life preserver. It has all the info I posted here plus much more. You reading it would help you help her. It takes some time to read it all.  Note sometimes what you're looking for is included in a section about some other topic so be patient in searching.
