She is probably misinformed

I made an incall appointment with a provider who was traveling and was staying in a hotel.  When I called, the first thing she asked me (even before we discussed the donation) was what model of car I'd be driving? I answered, but could not understand the reasoning behind the question. Why would she care?

some will ask the make of your vehicle in hopes that you dont pull up in the paddy wagon and negate any further screening.
Now, is she a legit Provider that's asked you for other screening methods aside from the BP way of screening?

If you were driving a Porsche, she wants to see you, but if you are driving a honda civic, she is not interested! ;) J/K

The real reason, is she probably had her incall setup so she can see the parking lot from her window and she will be watching for your arrival. Many ladies will do this, as it makes them feel safer. They can watch for orher cars, look for LE, see if you have passengers, see what you look like when you get out of the car.

However, it is strange, that it was her first question. It should be the last question, after everything else is set up.

She is probably under the assumption that all cops drive the same type car all drive a Crown Vic, police can't lie and must answer truthfully if she asks if you are LE and asking for a pic of your package is enough to ensure her safety.

I've been asked car color & general type of car...
However, I have arrived at the call point & been directed to drive around the block one turn at a time and ended up right where I started on the opposite side of the street...  She could see me arrive & see if any other cars were with me.
On another occasion, I called from the coffee shop next door (so as to not be conspiciously waiting by the side door)...  she replied "I don't see you".  I told her where I was & moments later she watched me arrive.  I only do that with repeat ladies now because she was momentarily freaked by the variation from what was expected.

Because of traffic, I find it best to arrive early and after being sure of the location withdraw to the coffee shop, timing how long it'll take to return.  Sitting in a hotel lot reading the newspaper, draws attention of Hotel Security & any Patroling Police.

The hilarious thing is I WAS driving a Honda Civic and she still gave me the hotel address!  Maybe she felt sorry for me.  LOL

Thanks for the reply.  She was staying at a fairly large Sharaton Hotel and there were many entrances (in the front, side, and the front).  I could have parked on either side or the back, so there's no guarantee she would have known where I parked.

She is a legit provider and had no other screening methods.
