always use a sharp razor and plenty of shaving cream, and then put stick deodorant on it after you dry off. If shaving is still really irritating, you can try hair removal cream like veet or nair. I use an epilator, which just plucks the hair out- hurts like hell but leaves everything silky smooth with no stubble ever. If only more guys were like you! I could suck and lick clean shaved ones for hours
For my last appointment, I decided to shave my body hair.. almost all of them, I usually trim before any sexual activities, but this is the first time I shaved.. so my question is, after shaving I got this rash and red dots around where my pubic hair used to be (my armpits and balls were fine for some reason).. so, since providers more often than not, shaved their pubic hair, I was just wondering if there's anything I can do to prevent the rash?
Many shave against the grain, which will cause razor burn. Shave with the growth of hair & the chances of razor burn are almost nil. The only downside, depending on how quickly your hair grows back, you may have to shave more often... I shave everyday in order to maintain a smooth feel, lol.

And there are a million answers. I shave the area about once a week. I use a woman's razor and woman's shave cream. I have never understood why so many say don't shave against the grain, because if you don't, you won't get as clean a shave. I have never had a problem like that, I shave both directions. I do shave in the morning, on days I have a date, shower after, and then shave face with another shower right before leaving for my date, never had problems.
I think it depends on the person. Some just have more sensitive skin than others, & if they shave against the grain, they will get razor burn every time... I've seen it a million times, lol. Personally, I can shave my legs against the grain, but not my nether regions.
