I don't know how frequently this happens, what the etiquette regarding questions is, or if there are some sort of guidelines/expectations for how to answer such questions....  

Recently, a new client (who found me on TER) remarked that he frequently tries to ask questions of reviewers but rarely gets a response.  He even told me that he'd contacted "a few" writers of my most recent reviews but didn't get any replies.  

I told him that not everyone has VIP and thus cannot read/respond to PMs; also that a lot of reviewers may only log in here when either writing a review or doing their own research so he may not see a PM for quite some time.  My other thought was that his messages are somehow not getting sent, or that he is not sending them correctly..... human error is always a contender lol.

 
But this got me wondering, really just out of curiosity.....

Are there certain questions regarding reviews which you won't bother to answer?

Are there TER members to whom you won't reply for whatever reason?

There were a variety of responses. Most say that they've said everything they care to say about an experience in their review, and aren't willing to divulge any more details in a PM (don't kiss and tell now!). Others said the questions are often things that can easily be found on the providers page/in the reviews (are certain services provided, etc).

Sometimes the questions are just plain dumb (how big are you, could she take all of you, etc). And if he's trying to contact people who left reviews a long time ago, it could be they no longer have VIP.

I will respond to PM's about a provider as long as what is asked isn't of a personal nature about the lady or specifics about location, etc.

I'm hesitant if the questioner is an alias or a newbie with no reviews.

It could be a husband, stalker, boyfriend, or monger's wife looking to get information to cause trouble.

posts/PM's is when the questioner has no history on the board or is using an alias.  If I don't know him or anything about him, I'm reluctant to share any more information about a provider than is already available.  I do respond to PM's if it is strictly a general newbie question that he/she wants to keep private.

That said, most of what I am willing to say is in my reviews.  I will not give specifics of location for her protection.  
I feel reviews should tell if she delivered as (implied) promised.  If I had a good time.  If there were rules that limited the fun.  Would I see her again.  Once a person has seen her, he can make his own judgement...  so I feel it should be taylored to the first timer....  some gals allow more once they get to know you & it's not fair to include add-ons if the first timer is unlikely to recieve it.   But all this is in my reviews already.

Am hesitant to answer anything that would possibly jeopordize a providers security or identity as well as session description beyond what is in a review or reviews.  
a question from an alias will NOT get an answer.

I don't get a lot of pm questions: some. I tend to see the same Boston lady over and over and those on the Boston board probably know that. But most questions I get via pm are simply over the top.  

1.) I was asked by one guy to describe my fav's tattoos as "he's particular about tattoo designs". Yeah. Not. You could also be a stalker. I responded that I don't provide that personal information. He can screen and make an appointment and see for himself. He responded "thanks for nuthin" and yes, that's how he spelled it. You actually have to correct autocorrect to spell it wrong that way. Idiot.

2.) Another guy asked me detailed info about a RI lady's incall location. He claimed he was concerned about the neighborhood but asked me to identify streets. Sorry dude. There are no "bad" parts of New England like there are in Detroit. Chicago, Baltimore or St. Louis. You'll be fine. You're probably also a freaky stalker.  I didn't respond at all.

3.) then I've gotten PMs asking extremely detailed information about our session. It felt too personal. No response.

Honestly I don't understand the frequent newbie questioning on really detailed specific acts. Maybe because I come from a sexless marriage, I simply feel that getting to spend intimacy with a woman at all is a special treat. I'm not really worried about doing specific things. If I'm seeing a highly reviewed lady; I'm going to have a good time.  

The only questions I have answered came from other known posters who asked me about a different lady's demeanor. Was she engaged, enthusiastic? Did she have a good attitude? Did you find her attractive (since she hides her face). Yeah. Legit questions from legit guys. I'll absolutely respond. I'll respond also to a legit question from a self described newbie, depending on what they ask and how they ask it.

I've been on both sides of this.  I think many just don't deal with pm's period or rarely see them if they don't have full time VIP status.  

I will respond if the questions are easy to answer without creating any security concerns for the provider and the reviewer has some history that appears legit.  Based on what I see out of a lot of hobbyists and providers, my idea of what could be a security concern is pretty broad.  If you talk to him about this again ask him to think about what he is asking carefully--maybe he could word his questions in a manner less likely to arouse suspicions about his motives

Some of the replies included reasons that just plain hadn't occurred to me; but they should have!!  

I think the big reason this guy didn't get a reply is because (according to what he told me) he just lurks on the boards, doesn't post, and never writes reviews.  

It's so nice to learn that many of you would not give out indiscreet information like a description of a lady's tattoos (BIG concern of mine) or her geographical location.

...If I didn't already know it was an alias I wouldn't have known it from the PM because the "name" was in teal font like the handles are when they are not an alias. However I knew this was an alias because of seeing the person post on the boards in the last day or so. When a person uses an alias to post on the boards the name to the left is in black type just like the rest of the text and there is no envelope below the name.

In the case of a person PMing me about a provider unless I recognized the handle I would check the person out before responding. I would search for posts by that "name" to see if it was an alias.  

 
Note: there are people that post using an alias which is the same as there handle. I don't know why but I know it happens

I'll start paying attention to black vs aqua names on posts from now on -- now that I know the significance of it.  Most of the time it doesn't matter to me anyway but it's still an interesting observation.
