Screening Question???

Is there an easier to way to get screened than giving out my work #??? I'm fine with screening but my employer will not take kindly to joe blow calling the office asking for me. I have an 800# that I've given to banks car dealers etc. will this work for either date check or 411??

However, I suspect it will not fly for providers. All you can do is ask, anyway.  If they do call your office, most will use some innocent excuse like reminding you of an upcoming doctor, dentist, etc., appt.  IMHO, it's better to give the info to one or two verification sites than hand it out to a number of providers.  Gina and her staff at P411 is pretty good about working with guys to get them verified with a minimum amount of private stuff.

Gents,
First time on here, and sorry for the repetitive question that might have been answered, but I can't find it. I'm a veteran of visiting other countries, brazil termas, st Maarten houses, etc.  I see the best way to get verified is by the different agencies.  Are they all the same or is P411 better ( it costs more) or is RS2K just as good?  Thanks!

If they can get to a switch board and get through and verify that you're a real person working at that company, then an 800 number could be fine. Honestly though, the more you try to get around this as a newbie, the more likely you are to skeeve a girl out and get yourself permanently on the national black list.

This is our job. We know how to call and ask for someone without managing to blurt out "yes, this is David's whore speaking. Could you put me through? I want to make sure he's not a murderer". Promise :-)

I have no issue with providing personal information and want to get approved for screening. Unfortunately, I have no way of connecting with someone who calls the number as I work out in the field do not work in an office. Lastly, I'm on vacation this week as well. I don't see how working away from a cubicle makes me an untrustworthy murder suspect, it just seems there has to be another option.

I have a similar work situation and P411 was able to verify me quickly without calling my office. I did have to send them several documents though.

One time I gave my work info some years ago when I started out and had no other way of getting verified, the provider asked me to send her a "blank" email from my work email.  She never called any numbers.  All she needed to know was that I work for that particular company and the domain name on my email address was sufficient for her. She then promptly deleted the email I sent.  This could work for you too if you explain that you don't sit infront of a desk.  

But I highly recommend getting P411 soon. It saves you time.  Might even have health benefits too since it reduces verification induced stress and gets you quicker access to the provider you wanna see. :)

It actually came from.  Header info reveals the path it took to get to you,  so things like X-orgination information tells you if it's legit
