So I'm a complete newbie. I'm thinking about contacting a provider for an upcoming trip. Totally understand the need to screen a new client, but just a little spooked about the process. What can I expect?

screening services are more widely used in certain parts of the countries.  Are you a member of RS2K, DC, or 411?  Each lady is different in what she expects.

Also, are you VIP?  If so, you can read the details in reviews and see who might be more newbie friendly.

Just remember that a lady is 100 times more nervous about seeing a potentially new client. She knows absolutely nothing about you other than a random introductory E-mail or phone call providing minimal information (at this point, she doesnt even know if what you are saying is even true). Remember, as a hobbyist, you have the advantage of at least reviewing the ladies profile and reading her reviews to confrim what you can expect in a session. That alone is worth its weight in gold.

Your sole objective is to make that lady comfortable enough to see you. To that end, you MUST be prepared to provide her with screening information as required. If that means 1-2 provider references (which as a complete newbie will be tough to provide) or employment verification or screening from a verification site, so be it. Understand that her safety is paramount. You should do everything in your power to put that lady at ease.

I know its unsettling for you to give any information to a complete stranger. But if you want to particpate in this hobby, there has to be a level of trust. Reading the reviews will help you make the right decision as to which ladies you believe are trust worthy to have private information. If you are uncomfortable giving any information to a lady, then perhaps this is not the hobby for you.

If you don't wanna give that out and have no references, don't be surprised if she declines the appointment.

Consider joining Preferred411.com and that way your info. is only given to one person, who is not the provider you're seeing...no way for her to get your info. if it is in Gina's hands. She has over 25 years of experience in this business, so she is not going to toss her good reputation by screwing anyone over, like some providers will.

This is a helpful thread for me, thanks! How long does it take for a response on screening info? I sent very solid info to a provider about three days ago...should I have heard back by now?
