I have been interested in the joining of this hobby for a month or so now and have read A LOT of material on here as it seems like a relatively safe community. I understand it will be difficult to break into this hobby for screening purposes not only for my 0 provider references obviously, but even if I found a newbie friendly provider, there is a slight problem with my particular case and that is why I am posting this.  

I am a mid 20s guy who left the workforce recently (medically retired from a hazardous profession due to injury) and am going to college as of this upcoming Fall so I will not be in the workforce for work verification for the next 4 years. How can I verify myself whatsoever with no references as well as no job? I have the funds and the desire, but I do not have the credentials apparently to break in. I am asking for help and hopefully someone can shed light on that!

Oh, and I have heard of P411 for instance, but am not in the workforce so it would do me no good at this time if I read it right.
