Screening info. for TER gents?

Usually when I set up at date when gents I ask for a phone number and name of where they work and if they have any references?  It seems like some of the TER guys think their being on the board is enough.  I asked 1 gent to e-mail me through my TER mail and he did.  Is asking for a work number okay?  I am letting a stranger into my home...

If I was doing this, I would want the maximum since safety is paramount.

I never contact a provider unless I feel very comfortable doing so; and I have never resisted giving out personal or work information that is needed to verify me.

Some guys do have a problem with this, and that is understandable.  However, if a client ends up with a provider who is lax in verification, how does that help his safety?

I feel safer with gals who do screen carefully.

TER membership really means very little by itself.  A TER gent / member who has reviews, would give some reassurance about what type of guy he is... and provides possibility of white list after a PM confirms that he is the member he claims to be.
This might substitute for some verification to supplement your screening.

I don't hesitate to give out screening info, including work numbers and such.  I can understand why some guys may shy away from doing this, but I hope they understand that not being forth coming with screening info will limit the Ladies they will be able to see.

Experience has show me that the Ladies who do the best screening end up being my favorites all the way around.  YMMV

I do not mind giving out my work info but anytime a man gives out information that a provider can ruin his life with it makes him a little uncomfortable.

This is an assurance to the lady that he will be on his best behavior.

Yes, I understand that a man can feel uncomfortable giving out this info. because if I choose to be nasty (well maybe that is not the right term) I could make trouble for him.  What good would this ever do me????

How else can I feel comfortable letting a strange man into my home and bed???  My only reason as you said is so he will be on his best behavior.

A strange man could not only ruin my life but he could also END it.

I have been seen by one gal based solely on my TER handle but for the most part I have had to provide other references or information as well.  FWIW, neither of my long-time favs could care less if a guy is on TER or not. Both of them require provider references and/or varying types of personal contact and employment information.

The choice is yours but I don't see how a TER handle guarantees you anything other than an appointment with a guy who owns a computer...

the more I'm going to wonder about her. I have seen several ladies who have known me from the boards first, but still asked for additional information. I don't have a problem with that. Some ladies that I've seen have known each other, and I'm sure, shared information about me. This too, is fine with me. Others have seen my whitelist referrals, and contacted some of the ladies on their own. That one surprised me a little, but apparently the ladies didn't mind.

mostly likely written by guys just wanting some free VIP time, I would make sure that he is whitelisted by a minimum of 2 ladies.  Go to this page http://www.theeroticreview.com/reviews/searchWhiteList.asp? and plug in his e-mail address.  If you have bought a VIP membership here, you can also go to http://www.theeroticreview.com/reviews/searchbyReviewers.asp to see who all he has reviewed and what scores he has given.

It is a constant battle to keep ourselves safe.  Many people think that we are disposable and that they have the right to do to us what they want since this is the profession that we have chosen.
Most guys are nice, but the number of assholes is growing.

As soon as you have 3 reviews, get on the Provider Only Board.  There is much more info there.

"You should send an email to [email protected] from the email address listed on your profile, giving them your handle, and profile ID#.  At the same time, fill out the "Contact Us" form (above) and send it in, giving them again, your profile ID# and handle.
Admin will then connect your reviews to your handle, and every post you make will have the link next to your name.
THEN, you can request access to the Providers Only board, which should be granted as long as you have at least three reviews to your name."

Nothing wrong with calling a guy's employer to ask for a credit reference by acting as a credit source, real estate agent, etc.

Each lady needs to make a decision on what she feels comfortable with in terms of screening.  The lady's safety must come first!

If a guy doesn't like her requirements, he can move on.
