Screening

Hey guys, I see a lot of the screening processes saying that I need to provide my place of business.  How is this verified?  Obviously I don't want anyone contacting my job.  What what other things should I look out for if I am worried about privacy?  Any advice anyone can give would be appreciated, I would like to be as informed as possible for my first time with a provider.  Thanks in advance!

If you're lacking prior references, a provider may require workplace verification.  This will allow for some measure of security for her.

Ask how she'll use that info.  In most cases, she will simply call your workplace main number, and ask to speak with you (verifying your employment there).   Should she reach your assistant (if applicable), she can simply make up some prearranged code name (i.e. "Helen from Liberty Associates", or whatever other generic or clever name you may come up with).

She's putting her own safety at risk.  With a well reviewed provider, you should trust that she will not use your workplace info for anything other than simple verification.

If you don't want providers calling your work you can have P411 do the initial checking you out. They don't necessarily need to call your office. I just faxed them a copy my DL, first page of cellphone bill with the cell number and my last paystub from my work.

Then just try to find a provider listed on P411 as newbie friendly. When you book your first appointment give her a lot information about you like: full name, nationality, race, height, weight, what do you do for work and of course your P411 ID.

If she has a website check if she has a screening form and provide as much information as possible. Also make sure you have a definite date and time for the appointment. You might also give her alternative date and time so that she can choose the one that best suites her schedule.

You may have to bite the bullet on the verification and provide some actual info, like your real name, place of employment, etc. I've had to do this exactly ONCE, the very first time I saw a provider. Since then, I've been able to use a pseudonym and provider references, making sure treat each provider well, and asking at the end of our time if I could use her as a reference. Now, I see only providers that will take provider references in lieu of my real info. Finally, I prefer not to submit any personal info via website or email (the Internet is forever), but rather by phone. Most providers claim not to keep any of your info, but I kind of doubt that. Bottom line: you're taking a risk with your real info, but then, as the old saying goes, fortune favors the bold...

Yes!  I know it's very hard to get over your legitimate concern about your privacy.  But girls need screening info to stay safe.  That's just the way it is, and, in the end, it makes you safer, too.  Well reviewed providers, and sites like P411, are reliable because they don't mis-used personal info.  Their business would be destroyed if they did.  If you're going to hobby you have to take the risk and give some reasonable ID info.  If you can't get comfortable with that you'll just have to find another hobby.

Once I use a verification service, how long is it good for?  How long will providers trust that the info is correct?
