Bet y'all thought you were rid of me and my questions...think again!
I'm in need of some help with screening. I'm not on p411 or DateCheck yet, so I've been doing my screening so far via TER whitelists and what not. Let's say a potential client wants to schedule an appointment but has no verification on TER whatsoever (no reviews given, no whitelists, no board posts even). Obviously that means I'm going to have to do my own screening in such a case. Ladies, what's your typical process/checklist for this stuff? Guys, you're welcome to chime in as well.
Rid of you hell no! We like you here. You ask good questions and you come back and say thanks! Not all newbies do that I just saw your review and I was just about to post a link on this board. Then I saw your post so I will post it as a reply to you. We are not supposed to advertise or shill on the newbie board, but I just thought with all your recent posts here, that the folks here would like to see your progress. It's always nice to see someone who has asked for help here to move on with the help received and become succesful. It is also nice to see one of the gents here toftt, with a new gal.
Also since you had so many website questions, I am sure some of the folks here would like to see your completed website.
I hope you have already contacted admin to have your profile linked to your username now.
After reading your review and seeing your photos, I just wanted to say a great big Thank You from the males of America. In my opinion you made a terrific career choice.
Now that you have a review you should be able to join the verification sites. The ladies can help you with screening info backchannel as it is not always a good idea to share all screening methods on the public boards. I know London has offerred to help you via email, and sounds like you have taken advatnage of that already according to some of your previous posts. London is taking some holiday time off from TER, but she may still be available by email. I don't know for sure. I believe Kendall Dvoe and naghtynikki have also offerred you some help. You might contact them about screening.
I can tell you some general methods that I have seen used: 1) Verification sites, and TER whitelists etc. 2) Provider references. Most ladies that use this method will ask for two recent references. (Two ladies that the client has seen somewhat recently--not 5 years ago) Preferably ladies with an internet presense. Preferably ladies with a website and reviews. You would need their names and contact info (email or phone) and you would contact them to find out how the client was with them and if they would recomend him or see him again. Hopefully he gave them a heads up that he used them as a reference. 3) Real name and work info. A lot of clients understandably do not wish to give up this type of info, but if you can't screen them through references etc, this is probably the best method. With this method, you get the potential client's real name and place of employment. You call the employer pretending to be a dentist, doctor, insurance agent, bank etc. just to verify the guy works there and is who he says he is. You can plan ahead with the client who you are going to pretend to be, so it doesn't arouse suspicion. (For example, if it is a small company, the receptionist may know his dentist or perhaps the dentist office just called yesterday.) In the case of this kind of screening you should also google the company name and phone number to make sure it is legit, as some guy could make up a fake company and fake phone number and answer it himself or have a friend answer to fake verify him.
There are also sites for providers that are opposite of the whitelist and verification OKs, where you can make sure a potential client is NOT on one of those lists. I believe you were referred to one of those sites in one of your first posts here.
There are other methods of screening but as I said the gals can help you better via backchannel.
Thank you! I couldn't have done it without all of the help I've been getting from you guys! And yes, my rates were kind of thrown together in haste. I'll PM you for some help with that.
I see on your site... you might want to re-word... you are available to "single men" and "couples" I think you might want to say men... some might read it as a judgement of marriage status.
Very good call. Looks like I've got quite a bit of tweaking to do!

Well done Tobi. Great first review and website. Your inquisitiveness and openness have added a refreshing charm to this board. Keep it up and good luck.
Looks like my reply to your post, postng your profile and website link, got everyone to talk about that and no one really addressed your screening question, except for me (in my second reply) and Fallon who came in late. Kind of a thread hijack. lol. It's all good though, and I am sure you appreciate the praise, but perhaps I should have started a seperate thread like I originally intended.
In any case, I hope you do find the screening info you are looking for. Take Fallon and the ohter ladies up on their offer to assist you via PM and email.
Totally fine. I actually went through my emails with London and she had actually given me a little how-to on that.
Speaking of London, I don't know if I like this hiatus thing. I miss her!
