I actually posted earlyier today asking about Agancies in Las Vegas and was very happy with the results and already heard back from someone wanting to speak to me tonight!

Being so happy with the results I was hoping someone might know of some agencies in Los Angeles.

Try TLC, you can also search for agencies by city

Los Angeles Agencies

Hi Sasha,

If you're a porn star, Playboy model, film actress, model, or UTR celebrity...then TLC, HelpUBookHer, and Pam Peaks are who you want to contact...that's who they represent.

If you're not, then I'd advise viewing the Los Angeles Ad Board and watch for agency ads. I'm also enclosing a link to TER's listing of some of the agencies in Los Angeles.

Choose One Agency, Not An Agency In Each City!

Many agencies demand or prefer you are exclusive with one agency. The agency you sign with spends their time, and many times their money to promote you, so they don't want girls who are with multiple agencies. I suggest speaking with an agency in your base city, before signing an exclusive contract, and ask them if they will be promoting you if you tour.

As far as TLC...like I said in my prior post to you...Adonia at TLC only represents porn stars, models, actresses, and celebrities. If you are one of these, fill out the application I've enclosed.

Sasha, I hope you sign with a GREAT agency!

I found a very High paying agency that would be a dream come true that works with LA and LV Secretive.biz
I applied and it will be 72 hours before I hear or anything. They probably only work with Celebrities, but it was worth a shot!

I can be a Model, but I am not a porn star or any of those things. But I could always ask her.

Yes I want to be picky with the agency. Make sure I like the starting prices. Before I seek representation.

1. They are not approved by TER (they do not display TER's emblem on their website).
2. They request payment, in advance, from clients for bookings.
3. The absolute worst contract I've ever seen for an escort agency!
A. "I agree to be a member of Secretive.biz exclusively for a minimum of one year, during which time I will not affiliate or associate with any other agencies in the world or work independently as a masseuse or companion until the end of that year or termination of employment. I, also, grant Secretive.biz full rights to all work affiliated model photographs/videos which include myself from the beginning date of my employment until its end which would be marked one week, after the receipt of this application, if and only if, the application is accepted and I am contacted by a senior staff member of Secretive.biz and accepted as an active member/model who has been added to the Secretive.biz model roster.

Please Sasha, be VERY careful before selecting an agency, and definitely before signing a contract with anyone!

I completely agree with you!

I am new to TER and was looking under new agencies and not reviewed agencies.

I called 100 proof and spoke to Zach and he didn't think I was a good fit. I really don't know how he decides.

But during our conversation he spoke about how he wants girls who will work for him and never leave. He said he has had girls work for him for 4 years.

He also does not want any girl who will work for them selves. And I post on TER and have a web site.

He also states on his web site one hour is $500, but he takes $150 out of it. So it really is $350

He said he would be happy to do screening for me if i want and take a flat rate of $150

I tried to Contact Blue Secret but he said they are not hiring, very hard to get into and said there rates are very high.

I like that!

Do you know what TLC rates are and Blue secret.

P.S If you have any pointers on how I can advertise more. Please let me know, I know that advertising is how you can start charging clients more.

First off, I would seriously suggest taking this backchannel

It's like making sausage, some things should not be done in public. This is a discussion that should NOT be taking place in such detail on a public board.

For the record, since this is now out in the public domain. I have no dog in this hunt, but a 30/70 split is VERY fair, especially if you were to get the benefit of all the credibility that Zack has cultivated over all these years in a city known for rip-off agencies.

Now PLEASE, take this conversation back-channel, there is no reason to have this discussion in public, and a thousand reasons not to.

Have to disagree. GaGambler is correct. He wasn't nosing into your discussion...

...with Robin he was giving excellent advice. The particulars you were discussing shouldn't be on this board. This is a public board where anyone can participate in any discussion. Your statement about it being your discussion simply proves it should be by e-mail or PM. It's not your discussion if it's on a public board.

Some other things you said here show you don't understand. You said you were new. You have shown it. Being new you should consider advice given rather than dismissing it.

We really are here to help and all we have said is an effort to do so.

It's different on the other coast

At least in the northeast, there a number of "indy-agency" girls who seem to have great relationships with specific agencies.

Case 1: She started with Agency in Boston; went Indy in NY; when she tours to Boston, she is repped by her old agency.

Case 2: She started with Agency in NYC; went indy in DC; when she tours back to NYC, she is repped by her old agency; when she toured to Boston, she was repped by the same Boston agency as in Case 1.

Case 3: There was a popular poster on these boards, now retired so I will only call her R Heart, who was an indy-agency girl in NYC and who also toured, usually as an indy.

Now, since you (Sasha) are on the West Coast, you have to play by the rules out there, so follow the best local advice (e.g., Robbin's).

I'm wondering about those contracts. I can't see any way to enforce them in court. Any evidence presented will be kind of self-incriminating, don't you think? Enforcement is more likely to be via back channels, blocking you from working for any other (reputable) agency or by other means.

Also, this is a PUBLIC forum. I can read everything that has been posted here. Although I find it interesting, I'm not sure that some people want their business posted in public like this. GaG and xyz are offering good advice on that point, too.

Look, you started by asking for general advice. You were given some good general advice by me, hiddenhills, Robbin and others. When you came back posting details of your private conversation with Zachary, that did not belong here on the public board. As GaG said, that info is best kept backchannel. Now you admit to being new, yet you are trying to lecture GaGambler and xyz (two of the most knowledgeable members on this board when it comes to TER policies) about TER rules?! On this thread you have come the closest to breaking TER rules. TER rules actually forbid sharing private information on a public board. While you may not have directly posted the exact conversation you had with zach, your post comes pretty close to violating that rule. It could be said that GaGambler was actually trying to "protect" you.

If you need more newbie help, feel free to come back and ask in this board, but please don't be calling out the knowledgeable people here who are trying to help you, and keep private details private. Good luck in your endeavor.

Theperfectstorm and 100 proof

I did report this thread, and they said post still stands. So now it is all there to see. I didn't even know you relied to it until after hearing from someone that you did. "Nothing is offensive until someone is offended". Looking back at policies I am sorry I broke one of them. The post was never intended to make some one reply offended by me. All I could do Is apologies, if someone told me they thought I was coming off being offensive. I just wanted a agency that wouldn't have the same requirements as 100 Proof did. I didn't want to write a bash on Zach post. It though someone took what I meant to say, and overreacted. Setting fire to fire, and call me out in public as a "Newbie that few nothing".

That was why I was disappointed with being turned down Zach. I was just a Newbie looking for work and advice. I told you when we spoke that I would change my price and I did. My site reflected ideally what I would have wanted to make. And there are woman that make that much. I didn't think I would have been turned down for my website price. I wanted you to have my website because I was open to any changes. I know what you charge per hour because I saw it on your website. I applied to your company because I thought it was a good price. You thought I would work better independently and I am happy to take your advice and continue pursuing that. I don't know if your requirements are standard or customary. But if any other agency operates the same way. They probably wouldn't want me too.

So, Zach and Theperfectstorm sorry for my behavior. I just read both of your replies now, And don't want either one of you to take any of the things I have said about 100 proof as a threat. I was only feeling on the defense about my personal business. It's all a perfect example that you can't set fire with fire.

I have a contact screening form on my website that I with use. As for background checks I don't know how to do that extensive of screenings. And would consider doing them if I felt I needed to do one.

You might have told me they weren't hiring, you might have not. Maybe, I overheard you and you just weren't sure who they take or what there requirements are.

I will not break TER's rule regarding divulging private communications, or sink to your level by being indiscreet... but Sasha, we both know you were far from remorseful or apologetic, when you contacted me...and why, I did not reply to you.
