I'm new and belong to date check however, after a posting on here and getting great suggestions, I find my self hitting a road block. I found a provider who I'd like to see who at first wouldn't do anything without references and then I explained my situation and she offered alternative screening through her.
This is the road block. She is really trying to help me, however, she can't find me online. I'm like a ghost. But yet I check out with date check? Go figure.
Someone suggested starting out with someone who has less than stellar reviews and that's how they got in. Others said some will take you with just date check. I found a lady who will set up an appointment with me who I suppose is less than stellar, has only 2 reviews here on TER and not a date check member yet(see she's trying though as I see on the members page). Hence no verification. Do I see this lady as a start at all or just keep plowing away asking lady after lady who has a better rep?
Someone suggested going to p411 and look for newbie friendly ladies however they still do their own form of screening like a provider has said on another post and again "road block".
Any suggestions anyone?

Also if there is a provider that is in the NJ,PA,NY area who would be a great reference for me to get started, I'd give them what ever info they would need but I fear they too would run into this road block. One thing this lady said that she was trying to avoid was checking my employer. I don't know what she would say if she called. Maybe another lady has a more tactful way of verifying that for themselves. So anyone willing to give me the chance to break in PLEASE chime in.

how well a provider is reviewed usually does NOT correlate to her screening methods or business model....

depending on where you live you might do better with Preferred411 (the most useful in my opinion) and / or RoomService2000.

Set up a date with the second provider that is trying to become a member of datecheck. You may find a diamond in the rough.

employment verification on their sites.

I haven't used that but if you keep looking you'll find some.

Also there are numerous agencies in that area that will use employment info.

Look at the posts on the NJ regional board, link on the left.

Looks like down here, there are more ladies are on p411 but not DC..And I have a lifetime DC membership... its seems more usefull in the beginning.. So from what I'm experiences and his experiences in the Northeast, P411 seems to dominate DC.. can anyone comment on that?

But if you want to see your first choice, give her your employment info. There are other methods as well. You being a ghost online shouldn't stop her from seeing you. In my personal life I'm a ghost too. I don't Facebook, mySpace, any of that.

Also, concerning ladies and her reviews, consider this: Reviewers make up only a VERY small percentage of a lady's available clientele. Do your homework, and a girl that's not trying to stick around or is very new is very noticeable.
