And has nothing to do with reviews.  They simply verify the men and women on their site.

I completely understand TER and how it works now. However, am struggling with the others. I'm at information overload!!

Please tell me the benefits and features of the other sites and what makes them a useful tool for screening.

rs2k doesn't seem sufficient enough, but its popular in my area. I did hear there are reviews on there, but I didn't see it. Then again, I haven't dedicated a ton of time there.

Datecheck seems good since you need someone within the industry to vouch for you...

I haven't even peeked at P411 yet.

Any information you have is appreciated. I'm at system overload at this point!

The verification sites allow a hobbyist to be screened w/o giving up personal information directly to the provider.  DC and P411 do not have reviews of providers.  On P411, a provider can provide links to her reviews of various review sites, like this one.

I am a member of DC and P411, but not RS2K, which is not used much in my area. I can't tell you anything about RS2K.   You can get a lifetime membership on DC for about $125 and same for about a hundred more on P411.  I don't know if either one had helped me but it never hurts to try.  On both sites, you can get providers to vouch for you just like a whitelist referral on here, after you have met with them.

See, I don't feel that rs2k is sufficient by only verifying and not providing reviews or having an established provider to validate you. Unfortunately, its the most widely used in my area. Womp womp. Oh well, safety first! I think I'll stick with DateCheck & TER. Thank you everyone!!

So I may try them afterall. I am a provider by the way. I know the name doesn't give it away immediately :-)

TER and RS2K are not mutually exclusive. All the sites you listed are used for verification. Period. You get verified so providers know you're not LE and are legitimate. You find providers via TER, be a VIP so you can read reviews and find legitimate providers. Then, you contact them and they use RS2K to verify you are who you say you are.

I don't understand why you state that it isn't sufficient enough. You shouldn't use DC or P411 by themselves either. The TER process is the best way for you, as a client, to find reputable ladies.

I joined RS2K about a year ago because of some business travel.  It isn't used much where I live but is a must-have in the Midwest.  For my money RS2K is a no-brainer, they conduct the exact same screening that most providers do on their own but without repetitive hassle.  The fee was modest, I don't remember exactly but I think it was $50 for life with a charge of $10 or so whenever you needed an upgrade.  I had to change my cell number and the update took a few hours.

I've used it with several providers and the conversation goes like this:

"Can I get some verification info from you?"
"Sure, but I'm a RS2K member"
"OK, whats you name and number"
"Here it is XXXXXXXXXXXXX"
Hearing clicking in the background
"OK I see you, now what time would you like"

The verification process took 10 seconds and I didn't have to provide all the normal work info you do every time a provider does verification.

A provider should always verify in some way. I want her to be careful. A provider who does not verify would scare me off almost as much as one who advertises BBFS.
So I picked up RS2k which makes things fast and easy.  The only problem I have is that this requires me to give out my real name as a part of the verification, even using RS2k.
If I understand the TER white list, it simply lists providers who will vouch for me and identifies me by my handle.  Have I got that right?
If so, I really should start asking providers to help me get white listed.  However, that makes me feel a bit funny.  I'm asking a provider to facilitate me taking my business to one or more of her competitors.  I gather that many don't mind but for the life of me I can't understand why not.

if you read other posts previously, many providers may look at them, but they also want additional references, not just using the white list alone.
