Can anyone tell me what protocol is on tipping?  What is common procedure on tipping and what percentage?

A waitress making less than mininum wage working her tail off all day tip about 15 - 20%. A cabdriver driving around a busy city 10 hours a day 6 days a week just to get by tip about the same. A hotel maid cleaning rooms all day long for 7 or 8 dollars an hour leave a few dollars tip. An escort many of whom make more in an hour (and almost always in two hours) than the workers mentioned above make in an entire week tip: no way.

some rules-of-thumb: if you're gonna tip then tip agency girls (since they have ~50% of the "all-inclusive" fee taken away). independents have essentially already factored in the "tip" into their rates (bearing in mind that they're pocketing the full 100%) and almost none *expect* one (though will surely be glad if you did)

this being said, a tip is (for me at least) somewhere within the usual 0-20% range. if and when i tip more than 20% it has to be for something WAY out of the ordinary and definitely above and beyond the call of duty

I don't tip.  I work to hard to just to pay the fee.  Yeah, it's my fault I'm not sexy enough to get poon for "free" with smiles and lies, but I don't tip.  If a girl rocks a guys world and he wants to thank her with some extra dough, go for it.   I think it sucks that the agency tkes 50%, it's not fair, but the girls know that going in to it.  It sucks but that's how it is.  If I made more $, mabe I could scam it with regular chicks or afford to pay more, but until then, if the price is $200 or $250, that's what I'm paying.

My view on this is....If you feel you got more value than her asking XXX then maybe tip. I normally dont tip though.
