Find out if some of the ladies will still require references. If they do, you can accomplish the same with TER's white list. Bottom line is nothing beats references to pass screening.

A lot of us (providers and hobbyists) are RS2k verified. It's one of the 'Big 3' of verification. Each one is regional. RS2k is the 'de facto' verification standard in Chicago.

Without knowing which area you're from, I can't say whether it's used heavily where you are. Post on your regional board and ask for others' experience.

To answer your question, I am verified by the other two main services, Date-Check and P411. I was able to join both without giving out much info, because I was vouched for by providers I had seen who were members. However, even without being vouched for, I would feel much less nervous about giving my info out once to a service than to each provider I wanted to see. Not to mention the alternative of rolling the dice with unverified providers whose ads sparked my interest.
