A couple of weeks ago I was a newbie and got some good info from this message board so I thought I'd tell my story. Mybe someone can benefit from it.

My first worry was LE. I didn't like the idea of going with an independent so I was looking for an agency(don't know why, just felt more comfortable). When I did a search for escorts on google I found numerous agencies in my area. I spent some time looking over there galleries and found a couple with very beautiful women. In my newbie paranoia I decided to play web detective. I did a whois lookup on the sites, and then did a google search on the person who registered the domain name. Actually found info on some copyright infringement lawsuits which clued me into the fact that these sites with 40 supermodels were using fake pictures. But regardless this made me feel better about the LE thing in the remaining sites. And just to be a little safer I got info on how to protect myself if I did run into LE. In retrospect I realize just how silly my paranoia had been but I am glad that I spent the time to educate myself.

So now that I was past the LE paranoia but keyed into the fake websites I kept researching. I did a lot of searches and finally found this site and a few others. In the regional boards I found good advice on which were good agencies and which were scams. I picked the agency that was recommended most often and made the call. When they told me who was available for incall(I felt more comfortable knowing that this would be kept away from my home) I wrote down the names and searched for reviews. Picked the girl with the best review set up the appointment.

My next newb worry was disease. Couldn't research my way out of this one but when I thought about it I realized that this was no more dangerous then picking a girl up at a bar. Just use protection and stop being paranoid.

When I showed up I was nervous as could be. Told the girl I was a newb and nervous. She put me at ease and I had a great time.

I've had two other appointments with different girls since then and while one wasn't very memorable it was still worth the money spent. It was really late and I think the girl was just tired.

So just relax and do your research. I'm sure you'll have a good time.

A newbie that thinks with his (larger) brain. What an astute move to do the whois lookup and pick up those copyright infringement suits. It's gathering tidbits of information like that, that make all the difference sometimes. There are people that have been doing this for years that never would have thought of that angle. I'm impressed.


BTW, if you've only been doing this a couple of weeks, you're still a newb.

This is classic stuff.... I think almost everyone here has been down this road.....

After enjoying this hobby now for almost 10 months and 16 reviews I thought I had it all figured out.  Now you bring up the indepth work that you did and I'm thinking I'm lucky I haven't been caught.  I do however, prefer the independants over the agencies.  I just look to see has the most reviews.
