Recently I tried to setup a date with this woman who advertised on Backpage. I had met her years ago as a stripper in a Los Angeles club. Later she got into lesbian porn and modeled foe all the nudie mags.
In order to verify mi Age/Id, I was asked to buy a $5 one-day membership in preciouscams.com
Then she asked me to go to another webcam site to purchase a $39 membership "to check my age" to which I refused, she then asked me how much I was willing to spend I gave a figure, she tried to upsell to overnight and I refused, then she asked me to either send money via Moneygram o credit card charge to her "modeling agent". I refused and terminated the chat session (yahoomsgr).

To me this smelled to ripoff I have never heard of this kind of thing before. Do webcam girls operate this way? Any body has some info about this?

I would be leery of anyone asking for credit card info to purchase a membership in order to verify you. Then asking for you to join 2 sites just sounds like way too much along with the upselling.I would suggest moving on to another lady that can verify you without you having to provide credit card info. You do not know what this person or their "modeling agent"will do with this info.If she requires a deposit for an appointment that is her choice to request it but I would check to make sure she is legit before handing over a deposit.

Your wise to refuse all this womans offers. What's happening is she has joined a variety of affiliate programs on she get a commission on all the guys that she gets to join the programs that she represents. She is probably in all the webcam sites and whatever other ways she can generate traffic to her without having to provide the physical service. She will keep upselling you until you say NO. I even heard from a friend of a friend that one girl told the guy who was trying to make a date that she was going on vacation to Jamaica for 2 weeks but"let's stay in contact". She emailed him and ask for some money to get a Jamaica cell so they could talk, he went for it. then she kept upselling him. These types would rather work scams than be an fantastic GFE of which there are a few.

Anytime a BP advertiser requires you to make a credit card purchase to "verify your age", you can be sure that it's a scam, and there never will be an escort for you to meet.

There are a ton of "sign up to verify your age" scams. They are merely subscription websites. NEVER plug your credit card information into any site to verify your age. As my title states - it's a flat out scam.

Providers do not process your credit card or have any site that verifies it to confirm you age. Plus, it breaks many rules for mongering, one of which is never use your credit card for this hobby.

The second any provider asks you to do anything with your credit card, run - do not walk to the nearest exit.

BTW, did you actually pay for that "$5 one day" membership? You'd better check their terms in fine print. likely you're gonna get slammed with charges. I'd cancel that immediately.

Theres that backpage thing again...... What is backpage??? Lol im new to the ways of hobbying in the US and i've never heard of this...... Also i think you were right to terminate your chat with thhe said lady and i personally would never ask a gent for his credit card details that just sounds dodgy from thhe off. Happy hobbying with safer providers honey.
